Tiny but mighty!
I keep this travel rod on my golf cart for pond hopping and had no trouble reeling in this mega 47”, 50lb+ cat baby! Very strong rod! Worth every penny! However, arms were jelly from battle so I had a hard time holding her up, she was almost bigger than me lolTaryn K

Be clearer on what you’re selling
I was disappointed with the rod I thought it was a 2 piece really don’t like the expandable rod not a good fit for me

They make it RIGHT!
I bought rod/reel combo with the telescope feature for my nephew but it was defective and he did not get any use out of his gift. Of course, I was frustrated because he really wanted a fishing rod for Christmas. Long story short, as soon as I reported the issue, customer service immediately contacted me with options to replace my nephews rod! Now that’s what I call. Great customer service!

To Aaron L. regarding backlash
When it comes to backlash Aaron L., that has nothing to do with the reel and has everything to do with your casting technique and the fine tuning of the reel for the weight of your lure prior to the first cast. If you backlashed on the third cast so bad that you tossed out your reel, then you don't seem to understand how to use a bait caster. Backlash and birds nests happen for various reasons but can mostly be avoided by fine tuning your reel every time you change lures, using light casts not putting to much muscle behind it (you want to let the reel do the work), and making sure that your line is wound properly during the previous retrieve (not loose or overlapped). The bait caster reel is not a spinning reel and should not be treated like one.

Doesn’t compact down
The top 3 sections after extending all the way out will not close . After removing from the packaging I haven’t even put the reel on it yet
