TLDR- Your cat will probably like it even if it's the pickiest of cats and it actually does feel cool to the touch! My cat is a rescue, found him outside in 2020 and so not only is he a ball of anxiety when it comes to new things but he's a cat and we all know they usually don't use the stuff you actually buy for them if it's nice. Anyways I bought this before a heat wave and he's used it almost every day (unless it's not that hot obviously). I placed them in spots he already laid in so I'd recommend that. He can sometimes be rough and get it bunched up but I realized he had been laying on a tshirt of mine in this spot so I laid it down underneath and between my scent (I'm guessin) and the fabric underneath it helped him lay on it without bunching it up and not sliding around as easy. I will say the little fruit print is faded and yellow so idk if it's just this one that got some sun or something but overall cute just a LITTLE shade and vibrancy difference on the fruit. It's really great though and he's gotten good use out of it. It feels cool to the touch and then it feels warm when he's left so I think it does help absorb some of the heat off of them. I haven't washed it but we were able to spot clean easily one time. I actually ended up buying him another one in a separate print after getting him this one. I honestly didn't think it would work and even doubted just how many positive reviews there were but it's for good reason! It works! I rarely review stuff unless it's worthy or just terrible. 10/10 purchase and it came when it was supposed to if not sooner!

Bought the Green Leaf Medium (27.5'' x 20'' x 0.3'') for my Ragdoll. He gets really hot during the summer. I don't always have the AC on and wanted something to help keep him cool. He loves this mat/blanket. It's cooling to the touch and he will roll on it to get cooler. I wish it had a rubber bottom to help keep it secure on the floor, but it's a minor nuisance. My ragdoll likes to lay on the floor when he is hot (not on the carpet or blankets) and he enjoys this mat/blanket. I feel like it must keep him cooler than just laying on the floor since he loves it so much. Very happy with this purchase. May buy more to put around the house so he has more cool spots. Update 06/09/25: My other cat has claimed it as his. He loves playing with this mat/blanket. He loves kicking it and playing with the little strings on it (not sure what the strings are for). It brings him so much fun and entertainment. Definitely a bonus to the cooling. I have to keep readjusting the mat/blanket to lay it back flat after a furious play session. Highly recommend for a cat who loves cooling blankets.

I bought this for my bunny and the material itself does feel cool at first. My bunny wast laying on it for about 30- 40 minutes and it feels warm to the touch. So while it does feel cool initially, if your pet is warm the pad will get warm as well. I'd recommend leaving the fan on for your pet in addition to the pad or placing a frozen water bottle on the pad so it keeps the pad cool a little longer.

Nice construction. Seems like it will hold up well, but my cat has ignored it. Other than providing a cooler surface due to the smooth material, it doesn't actually provide any additional cooling. Purchased it for my mostly outdoor cat who has adopted me. He prefers the shade or just lying on the cooler cement. Pretty prints and colors.

My cat’s favorite mat provides nice cooling and is on his windowsill perch. It is also nice because you can wash it as well as take it to the vet with them if they like, laying on it in their bed to give them extra comfort when traveling since it has their sent. Washes super easily.

What an awesome product! I don't know the science but we do not have AC in our house and on days when it's in the 90s our fans can't quite keep up but this pad has stayed cool to the touch and it still feels like a pretty normal material so my cat doesn't get weirded out by it and has actually been using it!!! What a life saver!

This is a cheesy piece of satin fabric with a backing. I was fooled into buying so DO NOT purchase!!!
