No, our topcoats are non-yellowing! UV light should also not effect the appearance!

Q: Does this paint works with butcher block counter tops?

Yes butcher block countertop is wood . It can be applied to wood.

Q: I don't want sparkles can I just skip that step and get a nice clean all one color?r

We do not typically recommend solid color applications as they tend to show imperfections very easily. The faux granite or marble pattern helps distract your eye from imperfections on the surface. You’re welcome to create a solid color application at your own discretion, but please note that we cannot cover it by our limited material warranty because it is not the intended use of the products. Even though you are interested in a solid look, you would still need to apply the Ironcore Primer so that the other paints adhere properly.
