Campfire Popcorn Popper - Old Fashioned Popcorn Maker with Telescoping Handle - Camping Gear by Great Northern Popcorn (Black)

This made great popcorn over the campfire. It was easy to use and clean and the grandkids loved it!

I use this over the fire outside or on my gas stove. I put some sunflower oil and butter in the bottom, but in my kernals and then shake it as I heat it. After it is done I put on a little salt and we have perfection. We have never had the popcorn burn, but that might be due to continuously shaking it like the Jiffy pop popcorn.

The popcorn popper does work well over a campfire! But - even with oil added the bottom layer of popcorn sticks and burns. It makes the popper almost impossible to clean.

We use it all the time at the beach

This I would be a great product if not for the handle. That burned all of our popcorn. Only a thin tip layer on top remained unburnt. The handle needs to be secure on the lid. Which we attempted several times to adjust. It never stuck. I wish I could return this product.

Bought as a gift, so I won’t actually get to use it, but in putting it together, I could see it was good craftsmanship. The latch held together well, and the extension handle was a huge bonus! I’m sure they will have hours of fun around the campfire with it!

Works ok, easy to burn - pan too thin

S’mores are so overrated. Buttery campfire popcorn is where it is at when you’re camping in the woods.
