I bought this for myself have to have a knee replacement surgery because it covers a bigger area and it stays cold for a very long time. Staying cold a long time was very handy because I could take it off set it beside me put it back on hours later

We own a hard working, hard stopping, reining cow horse with A LOT of heart. Her joints are clean (xrays at the vet) but over the last couple years, after a hard day cutting cows, reining and "down the fence," she retains some fluid in one of her rear pasterns. She has never been "off or lame" but the fluid really concerned us. We tried excercise, running cold water over it, "sweating" it, clay, wraps, anti inflammatories and other remedies. Everything took the fluid down but none took it away. We looked at other ice boots...but WOW the cost was prohibitive and hauling all that stuff down the road to rodeo/shows was just crazy. FINALLY, found this product and figured it was worth a try. IT WORKS! When she stocks up, mild exercise, apply the frozen wrap for 20 minutes and the fluid is GONE. We have kept her on 1/2 tab of Previcox (prescribed by our vet) for the next two weeks just for good measure. FITS GREAT, easy for me to put on just secure from the bottom up....conforms to leg fairly well (velcro and elastic keeps in place) and doesn't slip down. This is a great product for a great PRICE. WORTH A TRY. Comes with a cover so we just put the boot in the cover inside the freezer in the living quarters. I have only surfaced cleaned so gave it a "4" for easy to clean because I actually don't know the answer to that yet. It looks like you could wash it in a bucket and hang to dry without any issues.

My horse has a tear in the Origin of the superficial flexor behind the knee. I have been dealing with this for a couple months. Lots of cold hosing and sweat wraps / five minute walks. Cold hosing became a dreaded thing for both of us. I bought this magic ice boot and it’s convenient and effective. I can see a difference after icing. Since my mare is being limited I just apply her ice boot , groom her and work with my other mare. Not sure how long it actually lasts though because by the time I take it off (couple hours) it’s been defrosted. I will say it stays on well! I did my 5 minute walk (some trotting) and it did not move. I like the carry case because I can stick the boot back in it and stick it back in the deep freezer. No complaints from me or my mare. It works as advertised. Fits very well and it is super adjustable. My mare is a solid paint and wears 12” standing wraps on the front. This is longer and I like that because it covers the knee. Hope this helps someone. Seems to be helping my horse.

This horse ice wrap is well made and easy to apply on either front or back legs. The carrying case is nice and helps to keep the wrap clean. I transport the frozen wrap in a cooler with blue ice around it and it stays frozen in the tack room even hours later. One review stated not all gel squares freeze the same. I’ve had the same issue, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. The value is unbeatable, so I bought a second one. If my horse destroys it I won’t be so heartbroken. LOL.

Every equine owner should have these. We have been on the horse world for over 30 years and these are the best ones we have ever purchased. A must have - if you don’t have already get your soon as you can . These work awesome

Bought this wrap for my senior gelding. Super easy to use, he rolled a bunch of times with it on (he doesn’t like wraps, boots, etc) it slid down, but stayed on. Held the cold temperature for quite some time. Well almost a hour. The only thing I do wish, it was slightly wider so it could go up the leg more to cover the knee completely. Hints why the one picture it looks odd. I did just order another one so he can have one on each of his fronts at the same time. He was able to walk and roll with it on, do what he wanted to do. He wasn’t able to rip it off (he’s known to pull off others fly masks, blankets, fly boots). Definitely worth the money. I also like the carrying case it comes in, and how easy I can put it in the freezer but yet have it moveable to fit onto the leg.

Durable velcro ice wraps that stay on well when icing our horses. We keep several of these in our freezer at all times and they have been used daily for months, yet still are like new.

This is a good price for the money, stays cold for a good amount of time, if I had to guess maybe 20-40 minutes before it starts to get warm, fits my 14 hand pony’s legs, might be a tad heavy but I think that’s normal.

Absolutely brilliant and great value for money. Very easy to use and my horse found them very comfortable on his hind leg whilst treating a recent suspensory injury and it's really helped to reduce the swelling too.

Die sind einfach meine Lebensretter. Mein Pony hat eine starke Hufrehe, ich habe die Dinger jetzt wirklich täglich im Gebrauch. Jeden Tag im Gefrier, die Temperatur ist wirklich bombastisch, nämlich nicht zu kalt (Verbrennungen). Das Pony bewegt sich natürlich auch, absolut kein verrutschen. Sie halten sogar bis zu 3 Stunden kühl. Einfach eine Erleichterung. Einziger Nachteil, wenn man sie nicht sofort, nach beenden der Kühlung, abnimmt. Wirken sie wie ein Speicher für Wärme. Was denn natürlich wieder nicht so gut ist. Aber es dauert nicht lange bis man sich da eingefuchst hat. Es sind bisher weder Nähte auf, noch ist irgendwas undicht, selbst das Klett klebt noch wie am Anfang. Über Preis Leistung brauchen wir nicht reden, ich glaube nichts derartiges würde billiger werden. Es sei denn, man hat einen Bach in der Nähe und steht dann 3 Stunden mit drinnen. 😉

Me ha ido muy bien es lo que esperaba lo que un poco caro la verdad pro sta muy bien, hace su uso, lo único que compré un segundo y cuando me llegó fue defectuoso y lo devolví y genial, pedí otro y el k me llegó perfecto estoy contenta con la compra

These ice boots are excellent. I've had them several months now and with relatively heavy use (darn horses!) and they still look brand new. I find they mold to the leg better than some other brands and are easier to get to lie flat. Also, since everyone else at my barn has plain black there is no doubt these are mine - my 17.2hh chestnut gelding gets many compliments from the kiddos on his purple and pink ice boots.
