SWELL Wakesurf Creator SLIM H3X Plus - The Best Slim Wake Shaper - Extendable Length, Rotating with Hydrodynamic Texture

Purchased June 2022 - Been using for a complete year now on a 2016 Sanger V215S. Unless you have a very expensive boat that comes with the integrated hydraulic wake shaper or have installed a wake shaper on your boat, this is a must have for wake surfing. It may get confusing when trying to select one, we chose the SWELL because the reviews and customer feedback was amazing. We recently (July 4th 2023) had an incident with the SWELL wake shaper and the way the company stood behind their product has been absolutely above and beyond our expectations - just AMAZING. Fantastic customer service. I highly recommend SWELL products and the company. You may find cheaper products out there, but not sure you will find the performance and support you deserve that this company will provide. Thanks

This thing is amazing! So versatile and adjustable, you are sure to get the best wake your boat can make. The best thing is that the 4 suction cups hold it in place very strongly, it never fell off, not even once, like the others I’ve used before would do here and there!

Very disappointed. We just got this today took it out and put it on our boat like the instructions said and it fell off and did not float. It’s gone. We didn’t even get to use it.

We were skeptical that it would help being that it holds on with suction cups. We did a without run, then installed it. Significantly different wave. A little bit of a learning curve and where to place on boat. But easy and most importantly made a difference. We are truly a fan!

I bought this unit in the summer of 2021 and used it once. On that day I was not able to dial it in to create a wave that could hold a surfer; however, I know that these thinks take time to figure out. I did not have the opportunity to use it again until June of 2022 when I pulled my boat out for the first time. I followed the instructions to the letter but the unit popped off almost immediately. The only proof that it even existed at all was a single suction cup still attached to my hull. The rest of the unit disappeared in the lake. The unit is supposed to float but we gave up looking for it after an hour. I am a little skeptical as to how well the unit floats as our search for it was thorough. I am not discouraging you to by this unit, just beware that you may lose your investment in the drink. I wish I had it long enough to see if it even worked.

I have an older 2004 Mastercraft, and the wake with just my ballast wasn't quite enough for wakesurfing. I had to use the slim model due to the room available on my particular boat.The first time I used the Swell, it fell off, I had not secured it well enough. Thankfully, it floats! No need to attach it to your boat and risk damaging it. Once I figured out how to secure it properly, and double check to make sure that no matter how hard I pushed or pulled it was secure....the rest was history! I even forgot to remove it and started the boat full throttle and even with excessive speed, it stayed attached.Until I upgrade to a boat that comes with all of the installed surf gates etc, the Swell be a piece of equipment that will always be with us.

Lasted almost a full season but it had a weak point at the plate it pivots on so now it will not lock in place when rotating it from goofy to regular position. As much as this costs it’s got a weak design so I now have to go spend another several hundred because this one did not last. Would not have purchased this product if I gag known of the defect in the design.

Our other wake shapers wouldn’t stay on and this one does!! Makes a really nice wave with a nice barrel. Doesn’t seem flimsy or easily breakable like the other reviews say. Maybe they are going too fast.
