I have three dogs and a cat and like to wear black. I use this roller for hair removal (a) when it looks likes I've brought my dog with me and (b) when ironing. It does an adequate job. The pad is sticky enough to remove hair, but, no surprise, doesn't provide a deterrent for future hairs. Realistic pet owners will know what I mean. On the balance of being a pet owner who wouldn't be without my furry/hairy friends, I consider this item good value for money. No pets - an exceptional grooming tool.

I've used the the standard rollers by Scotch and we used to use them at the vets - they are good and work. The pet one here is a lot stickier and the only thing is it's a bit harder to peel off the layers as they are so sticky. I have a rag doll cat who is long hair and very fine hair which sticks on everything and these are great! Quick roll before I go out the door. It's also good to brush your pet, and hoover furniture regularly to reduce the hair transfer to clothes.

Good stick and easy to tear. Works for de-linting and cleaning upholstery surfaces.

I absolutely love the Scotch-Brite Extra Sticky Lint Roller - it works wonderfully on pet hair.However, I have a recurring issue: after replacing the sticky rollers on the handle, the roller does not stay in place and always falls/flies off the top of the stick. I have placed two separate orders for this product and have experienced the same frustrating issue both times.I hope the manufacturer can address this design flaw, as it affects the overall usability of an otherwise excellent product.

Effective at picking up even the most stubborn of dog hair but can take quite a few sheets depending on size of item eg can take 5 for a large coat
