Outstanding Protection and Function for Note 7
UPDATE 08/20/16: I received my Note 7 yesterday and have been trying it with this case with outstanding results. The case fits very well and all ports line up. There is an extra microphone hold on the top, probably because they didn't have exact specs when they designed the case, but it is not a problem. The volume and power buttons are very positive and line up perfectly. The material provides a good gripping surface as well as being very attractive. The fact that it is semi-transparent provides an excellent contrast with the black phone and the Samsung logo is slightly visible through the back. The red goes very well with the black onyx phone. Contrary to my earlier assessment, this case absolutely lives up to UAG standards and I will continue buying UAG cases for my phones and tablets. I have added some pics with the phone for viewing. If you find this review helpful please click the Yes button below.I purchased this UAG case for my soon to arrive Note 7 to ensure I have a good protective case for the phone on first use. Since I have a similar UAG case for my Note 4 that I really love, this was my first choice. At the time I ordered this case the expected arrival time for the case was well beyond the arrival of my phone so I also ordered the CoverOn Hard Armor case of similar design which was available right away via Prime.I have reviewd the CoverOn case separately and it was surprisingly comparable to my Note 4 UAG case especially for $9.99.The UAG case for the Note 7 arrived on 16 Aug and was anxious to check it out. I was a little surprised that the case seems of lower quality than the Note 4 UAG case, both of the same general design, in that it flexes if I twist it and the material appears to be not as strong as my old UAG case. The outer shell is polycarbonate with TPU padding on the inside. The case is a glossy and semi-transparent although it looks like it will still provide a secure grip on the phone.Comparing the $36 UAG to the $10 CoverOn case leads me to believe the CoverOn may be the better choice quality-wise. The price difference is particularly notable when you compare the design and strength of the two cases. The true test will be when my phone arrives around the 19th and I can test both cases. I will update this review once I have tried my phone with both cases. I plan to be thoroughly objective as I try both cases. However, the loser will likely be returned. My conern is not the price but the quality of the case and how well it will protect my phone investment.I hope this is helpful to those of you looking for a good case for your new Note 7.

Still the best
UAG is the best phone cover I have ever had. Protects like no other cover. Rugged and also looks good. Has reinforcement in all the right spots, without being so bulky that it feels wrong in my Levi's front pocket. I bought one for my Galaxy Note II 3-4 years ago and it's still going fine, in spite of having fallen quite a few times, including from a moving bicycle on to a gravel trail. The new one fits my Galaxy Note 7 like a glove, and it actually makes the "edge" feature not quite so easy to accidentally engage, which is a huge plus. But you can still see the "edge" with the cover on.

If you own a NOTE 7 and if you Love it, READ THIS REVIEW!
I have had my Note 7 since the release date and its pretty much the best smartphone you could have. Don't fall for the Apple fan boy propaganda and the bulls*** exploding fiasco, this phone is a powerhouse and the foundation for the future of Fablets. Anyways, that being said I have NOT been given any samples or been paid for this review, I am just a consumer like you. And listen when I tell you: after trying many, many different cases for the Note 7, I can tell you that UAG is THE BEST LOOKING, THE BEST FEELING, AND THE MOST PROTECTING CASE THERE IS! I have dropped my phone about 40 times so far, I am always on the move and constantly getting in and out of my car and carrying items. So maybe my hands have an extra hole in them because I always drop my phone. And because of UAG Case there is not even one mark on my phone. I'm serious, NOT EVEN A SCRATCH! Also important - looks, and this case (Unlike the bulky Otter cases) looks so fly, especially the clear versions that show off your Note 7 logo. I really can't praise this case enough and UAG, in general, is the best company when it comes to phone/tablet cases! Thank you, guys, for your hard work!

Quality Case Worth Every Penny
I love this case. It is rugged and offers great protection. It feels good in the hand and doesn't add any extra weight to the phone which is very important to me. I had one for my S7 Edge and I loved it. I had this case a day and the "UAG" lettering fell off the back of the case. I was less than thrilled. I understand it does not effect the quality of the case but it affects the aesthetics of the case and I like my cases to stay in one piece for longer than a day, especially when they cost $40 (I bought mine before they lowered the price).I immediately contacted Amazon. They are refunding my money and sending me a new case at the lower price.

Cool looks, moderate protection, might be overpriced for what you get.
Nice case, however if you have the spigen magnetic style mount for your car vent it doesn't work very well. The back of the case isn't flat so you aren't able to stick the magnet to the back of it. I tried putting it under the case but it doesn't stay on the vent mounted magnet. If you don't use this then it is a great case but it is overpriced in my opinion. I have tried about a dozen cases and the OtterBox symmetry is the best so far due to its slim profile, excellent protection and very large upper and lower lips to protect the screen while the phones face down.

UAG does it again!
Absolutely love the UAG cases. Had one for my V10 awhile back, best case I ever had. So I bought one for my Note7. Usually I don't drop close to $50 on a phone case, but this was a phone worth protecting and a case worth the money. It's well built blending hard plastic and durable rubber. All while keeping the buttons feeling tactile and satisfying. Absolutely no complaints! Except that one where I have to return this gorgeous phone, yeah that sucks.

Not a bad case - looks as it does in the photo
Not a bad case - looks as it does in the photo. However I didn't realise it was transparent on the back, which wasn't what I was hoping for. Also, the edges of the screen aren't covered - probably to keep use of the edge apps, but it felt very unprotected to me, like the screen would be liable to break if dropped face down.

Not compatible with official secreen protectors
Its a fairly good case, edges are a little sharp for my liking, and the back doesnt feel nice in your hands.I ould continue using it, but its not compatible with samsungs official screen protectors! it lifts them around the edges!

This is a great case!
While the cost is a lot higher than most cases out there, I feel like the protection is superior and the build quality of the case is worth the cost. I originally had a Spigen Tough Armour, but did not like the flexibility around the edges. This case is rugged, light and actually feels pretty slim, despite the huge phone. It's comfortable in the hand and I like how the buttons "click".
