I have used metal item for encasing my plastic fridge deli tray hanger to minimize breakage due to tray weights bending and flexing the plastic hangers upon daily opening and closing. I have made it work for our family usage. Spent a $12 dollars to add longevity/strength to our fridge plastic tray hangers. Drilled a hole for support screws on the sides. Does not take much time with proper tool assistance…15 minutes.

Bought these to go with a new hot well for the food truck. They are just fine and will last long I think. Not as thick as I like them but just fine for the job intended.
