Sweet, angsty and thoroughly fulfilling
Hibbert books have become a complete insta buy for me and I keep them in my kindle as precious gems I only crack in the event of serious stress, maybe that's why I waiting until December of the year of our Lord Lucifer Morningstar 2020 to start this one.Her books are always hot as all hells, and deal with the reality of BAME in UK, which as a Latinx immigrant, I appreciate, but also her characters are usually dealing with some heavy personal mental health issues, which could easily, and dangerously, end up in "magic vagina/penis" fix all your issues because love is meant to fix you.Hibbert manages to inspire and provide hope without giving easy answers, understanding that the best love is the one that provides understanding and support allowing to nurture the courage it takes to get on the path of recovery and growth. Also, amazing sex scenes, I almost missed my tube station and I'm happy for my mask, I have the horrible feeling Talia Hibbert might be able to make me flustered.

Sweet, Steamy and Moving
Talia writes such ooey gooey, cosy romances and this was no exception. It was sweet and emotional and their connection felt deep and significant. Also, top marks for the spice because Talia’s spice is always top tier and so freaking HOT. And top marks for Rahul because he absolutely carried this book.I really struggled to connect with Jasmine. I am all for complex, flawed characters but in my opinion Jasmine just didn’t have enough redeeming qualities nor did she grovel enough for my liking. I found it really hard to look past her selfishness and the way she walked right over Rahul constantly. It probably didn’t help that the FMC narration for this book was not great and I found myself wanting to skip to Rahul’s narration.Four stars for Rahul, the spice and the cosy domestic vibes.I would recommend it if you want cosy friends to lovers romance with a whole lot of gorgeous steaminess and fantastic grief and loss representation.

3.5 stars
I liked this but i really didn't like the audiobook. I also wasn't a fan of the way Jasmine treated Rahul. Kinda mean and he was totally obsessed with her.3.5 stars/ 3 spice

Best Friends to Lover for the Win
I devoured this book in a day and yes it was worth it.The story is passionate, steamy and emotional. Raul and Jasmine are whole by themselves and much richer together. It was beautiful seeing their friendship grow and blossom but also have the chance to see how they developed individually to learn how to navigate themselves in an relationship that was unexpected. Loved it for all the good and the hurt. Read if you love the Friends to Lovers trope with a clear sense of self.

friends to lovers 🥰
First time reading a book in 3rd person and I was pleasantly surprised. Talia does know how you use her descriptive words I can tell you that. Really cute and warm romance.

Deeply Romantic Story
People - Talia has pretty much figured out my tune.I've met my new favourite romance writer. The tension, the heartbreak, the build.Delicious.It can be a frustrating read because basically from the start you have Rahul who is hopelessly in love with Jasmine and she has too many mental struggles to really accept and nurture that love, but it's written more empathetically so you really understand her thought process instead of getting frustrated about the characters not talking to each other.I loved the premise, I thought the steam was hot, the characters were hot. The way they describe how they feel and how they see each other is really quite poetic. This is one of my favourite romances now.And to think - I bought this book accidentally lol. I meant to just look at it and I clicked too many times. #NoRegrets

Mmmmm teasing
I got a little impatient with this burlesque approach to this love story, I liked the characters BUT as I said, I was like, for goodness sake get on with it. Mgw

Steamy, emotional story
A steamy friends to lovers story. Starting in college where Jasmine spots Rahul in the library and there is just something about him that she's instantly attracted to. However, Jasmine has many issues going on inside her head that keep her heart closed off from everyone. Rahul was also instantly attracted to Jasmine, but at that point they wanted different things from their friendship.Quite an emotional story exploring both character's inner thoughts and feelings throughout their friendship.
