For this Civivi product, the knife in hand has lived up to every bit of the hype I have seen so far - and that is saying something! Everything about the Brazen, from its looks, action, ergonomics, the feel of the G-10 handle (nothing fancy, but its simple yet graceful shape fits in the hand PERFECTLY, at least for my big ol' ham hands!), the liner lock, the razor sharp blade out of the cool Civivi zipper case (with a mirror edge finish; not the coarse, toothy almost-serration you get with a lot of new knives) - even the sound as the aesthetically beautiful blade snaps into the locked position - ALL of it says, "WOW!" I'm sure there are other knives out there that offer all of those features (I've seen a few Civivi models that come close - I was considering a couple of others before I saw the Brazen, but once I got a good look at the contours of the blade and handle of the Brazen, and saw the Sandvik steel (rather than the D2 that many competitors use at the same price point), the choice was easy. I am not one of those knife collectors who can just toss off a few hundred on five or six knives on a whim - I waited for six months for the opportunity to spend money on my own guilty pleasure, and I have no buyer's remorse. This is a GREAT KNIFE. That's about it.

The action is smooth and very sharp right out of the box. I have a Kershaw and Zero Tolerance. Neither could hold an edge. How this holds an edge remains to be seen, but it's shaper than the other two even after putting an edge on them.

Easy to open with the quick finger latch. Carry it with me often when hiking in the woods. Great tool to have on hand when needed.

Very well made knife with a solid lockup. It has both a flipper tab and thumb studs making it a good fidget knife. Very good ergonomic feel in the grip.

Had a couple elementums and chevaliers and this is my favorite one. The button locks are cool but I prefer this liner lock style better. The knife is still on ball bearings so it freely moves, but because of the design, there's no risk of cutting yourself when closing this knife. Seems nice and sharp out of the box. 3.5" is pretty big. This is definitely a hunting style knife, but I carry it EDC and it's no issue. I like to know that it's there where the elementum will dissappear in my pocket and I'll forget I even have a knife on me.

I was shown a Civivi knife and a sporting goods show and went online when I got home and found this one, it checked all the boxes for me in style, color blade type and finish. It was delivered next day, and I am blown away with this knife, I do not like writing reviews so if I write one it is because it is either awesome or a total POS! This is awesome, I would have been happy to just get the knife in a cardboard box but this came with a cardboard box, micro fiber cloth, a very nice padded zipper case, and one of the sharpest best fit and finish flipper knife I have ever owned. You will be blown away with the quality and it has a full lifetime warranty with it to boot. I bought this knife and was not paid to leave a review, it was because I really like it a lot, you will to. I am going to look for another one to buy right now!

The knife feels good and comes sharp but the clip broke the first day I carried it. I work in an office environment but the clip couldn’t handle anything and once it bent the first time I flattened it then it kept getting caught as I walk by desks. You can’t remove the clip and let it free in your pocket, as it’s assisted opening would go off.

One of Civivi better knives . Good ergos .good fit and finish . Worth it .
