Quick Delivery
The hydration pack came in two days. Everything works as advertised. The water taste normal with no awful rubbery taste. I like the covered mouth piece. The bite tube doesn't work like my Camel Back and just takes a little getting used too.

Good quality, and, not cheap
OK, this is well-made and works. It is probably not light-weight for the volume of water it holds. Wore it on 1.5" wide web belt and worked fine as a waist-carried bladder. So, can wear while seated in a vehicle, can put-on a jacket without being a hunch-back, etc.Quick disconnect at the bladder automatically closes a valve, so can remove from pouch for filling (the bladder and tube sit such that it is held in pouch when tube is connected). Entire top of the bladder opens (sliding clamp system) for easy filling--although hard to judge "full". All small bits are tethered to respective big bits, so won't lose anything. There is *no* additional storage pockets beyond the bladder pouch.Fit on a plain belt fine, but suppose MOLLE panel or adapters would make it more secure.Would like something not quite so expensive, nor heavy, for what it is. A clip for holding the drinking tube to collar or shirt, etc., would be a nice add.

Very solid construction coupled with a solid design.
The title says it all. I must admit, I have an obsession. Even though I completely understand that I can only drink from one water bladder at a time, I feel the need to keep buying different brands and styles in search for "the perfect" one. I've owned everything from Condor to Platypus to MSR to Camelbak. Until now, it seemed a tie between camelbak and MSR for best design / quality. Well, I think I have found the bladder that trumps both of them. I think the overall design of this canteen is nothing short of pure genius. The bladder closure device makes cleaning a complete non-issue. The quick disconnect, even though somewhat similar to camelbak's, seems much more solid and better designed. If anyone has ever used the "quick" connect on the camelbaks you know that sometimes you have to press the little button on the release so hard that you end up having "camelbak" imprinted on your thumb for the next 5 minutes. Not so with the Source Kangaroo Canteen. As for longevity / extended reliability, I haven't owned the item long enough to report confidently on that, but I anticipate no problems what so ever for quite a long time. As a side note, I bought the Universal Tube Adaptor as well. It allows you to fill your source bladder through the drinking tube without having to open the bladder or take it out of the molle pouch. Another stroke of genius and I highly recommend it also.

Perfect
Use this in turkey hunting vest. Works perfectly. No after taste whatsoever. That was a huge concern of mine, but water tastes great.
