This lithium jumper was still starting car 9-10 years after I bought it.
It was still Starting Car 9-10 years after I bought it. I bought in 2016 & it still started car in 2025. In fact my huge heavy wheeled car charger/booster, would not start my Yaris ia with a dead battery, but this lithium jumper started it. Finally now in April of 2025, I see that the case has swollen, indicating swollen battery inside. I don't know what it will do now, but I bought another one as I want my wife secure in a car that does not break down or won't start. I have neglected this GB150 by not charging it frequently IMHO. I did not get the apparent "upgrade" on this model, I think rated at 4000 Amps instead of 3000, because I read review(s) which indicated that the older model GB150 was better. (It seems to me that often "upgrades" are downgrades.) Of course a lithium battery does not last forever, & I believe one really needs to keep them charged up at least every 2 months. It seems I have had tool lithium batteries go bad after about 1 year of sitting around.

A solid product
I've had issues in the cold and with a dash cam that was hard wired. The dash cam with voltage protection hard wire kept the camera on for 24/7 and never let it go into parking mode. W/o going into a long drawn out review of how low voltage messes with normal features like exterior door lock and unlock handles I will say this has helped tremendously. If you read something about this "compact unit" fitting in an empty glove box, I highly doubt it. Even a center console is pushing it on a lot of trucks and SUV/CUV platforms. If you have one of those consoles that has a pass though on the bottom accessible to driver and front passenger this is still pushing it. Under a seat is possible in pick ups with the back seats lift up or fold down, regular cars its gonna be a hard pass. It's compact size would only be in relation to a plug in same rating jump box with extra gizmos. I ended up buying a separate air pump that is small enough to fit in a glove box.At first I did want to buy the house charger but wanted to see how charging in the car charging works out before I spend more money on this investment. Car charging isn't a horribly long process, you just have to remember to power it on and see the voltage levels. After 3 months I find it's almost dead, around 2 months I will just pull it out the case and charge it on a trip to the store. a 15 minute trip pretty much had it back to 100% charge. I did end up getting "NOCO GBC015 Boost Pro EVA Protection Case for GB150 UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starters" to store it as I didn't feel safe trusting the semi expensive charger bumping around with tool bags and tools that can't fit in bags. Since this isn't a glove box sized unit, the case didn't really add more bulk to its overall size being stored in an open space.***Actual part of review where I actually used it. It comes pretty much "charged" but I wouldn't trust it's gonna stay charged for long. Still charge it for a bit before 1st use or short term storage in the vehicle in the cold. My goal was to get a charger that had enough power to instant start my 3.5L V6 in the cold. I could have gotten a slightly smaller unit but I wanted to be 100% sure it's a quick start. I haven't tried it on 9.0 gas engines or diesel but regular sized 4/6&8 cyl engines it's quick start w/o a wait 5 mins and try again situation. I've jumped my truck 2 times and maybe 4 others off the same charge in a 2 month span in the colder Midwest region.1.23.25Had to jump a 7 volts dead battery 2 different occasions, would have called off for work for sure. Same claim of start 1st time even on 7 volts of 12 volts. Charged it 2 times since review and still showing fill charge with 11 jumps.

Works On A 2 Battery Vehicle. Be Aware Of Sparking Potential.
First off, this product arrived on time and undamaged.Initial Thoughts:This product was packaged very well and it seems quick sturdy and well made. It arrived with a minor charge and took 3 “full” days to fully charge it to 100% while utilizing the included USB power cable in a North American Wall Outlet with USB adapter. Why We Bought It:My wife and I own a H1 6.5L diesel dual turbo (two 12V batteries system) and we live in a region where the days typically stay below freezing and even in the negatives for weeks on end. This longevity of cold weather frequently results in damaged and drained vehicle batteries in our area. In the past, we wasted a lot of money on new batteries until we bought the NOCO Genius G4 Charger. Unfortunately, we cannot utilize it as a trickle charger due to the distance the vehicle has to set away from a power outlet, but we can easily remove the batteries to repair or “boost” them when needed. To date, we have been able to revive many (6 batteries), but not all, damaged and/or drained batteries. The G4 Charger is a hit and miss with us honestly (as our review on that product states); but overall, when it works, it saves us a lot of money instead of frequently purchasing new batteries. Due to our understanding of that product's built quality, we felt purchasing the NOCO Genius Boost Pro GB150 would be a safe bet. We also felt that as long as we can start a vehicle with the GB150, we can at least get it to where we need it and then us the G4 to fully charge it and/or repair it at a later time. In short, the GB150 does seem very well made and sturdy. Before I progress, it is also important to mention that prior to taking the leap in purchasing this product, we even attempted to keep our H1 attached to 4 interconnect 9W NOCO Solar Panels (trickle charging system), but we quickly discovered they are useless for a 2 battery system (even in the summer months). That being stated, the panels are good for charging cell phones and other electronic devices over a "long'" period of time in “direct” sunlight. Since our prior attempts with 4 NOCO solar panels didn't help us maintain a continuous charge and since other battery jumper devices never had enough amps to jump our 2 battery vehicle, we bought this NOCO Genius Boost Pro GB150, charged it upon receiving it, and have waited for a good day to test it.Initial Conditions Tested In and the Results:We have not driven our H1 in 3 freezing weeks (via being out of town) and today we awoke to 7 inches of snow and -5 degrees F. After attempting to start the H1, there was not enough power to crank it over prior to using the GB150. However, once we attached the GB150, it only took 2 cranking attempts and the H1 was purring with no issues. As such, this product works! However, we did experience one flaw. Supposedly, this system is supposed to prevent sparking unless you override the system and turn off its safety features on a fully drained battery (below 2V); however, on the first crank it sparked significantly and suddenly. Since the H1 is so wide and since the view was restrictive by the engine when we cranked it, we were unable to see what initiated the spark. On the second attempt, we checked the connections (which seemed fine) and attempted to crank it again without touching any clamps between the battery terminals and the GB150. This time there were no sparks and it started right up.So you may ask, why did it spark the first time and not the second when no cables were touched? We have no idea. Perhaps we missed something the first time, but we wanted to warn everyone that there “is” a potential for sparking so please be careful. Perhaps there was some corrosion on the terminal or perhaps some snow (since it was snowing and we did this outside) created a short or some sort. In either case, this product “did work” which makes it a good investment for us. We hope it lasts and gives us years of problem-free results. How Long To Recharge After Use?It took approximately 5.5 hours to recharge the GB150 back to 100% after utilizing it this morning. Again, this is utilizing a wall adapter and “not” a computer or cigarette lighter adapter as it states it is capable of doing. Conclusion:With everything considered. This product is well made, sturdy, and does what it’s advertised to do. However, since the first cranking attempt resulted in unknown sparking, it is important to remember you are working with electricity and you should always utilized the proper safety protection (goggles, gloves, etc) when operating this booster. That being stated, in utilizing this product with the NOCO Genius G4 Charger, we finally have a winning system that is saving us money. We hope this review helps.

Super powerful and well built
This things works awesome I have yet to find a vehicle it won't start. Even if the vehicles battery is completely dead this unit fires it right up. Charges up fast and will start many vehicles before requiring a recharge. I originally purchased a cheaper model but it just didn't have enough power so I purchased this one instead and it does exactly what I need. Highly recommend.
