UV Physical Tinted Sunscreen for Face, 100% Mineral Active Sunscreen

I have rosacea and need to protect my skin from the sun. This is my go to makeup and sunscreen all in one. Originally I purchased it from my dermatologist. The tint is just right for my fair skin and it does not leave my face greasy or streaky. I’ve used nothing but this brand for several years now.

As a mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide, it's gentle on my sensitive skin and provides fantastic protection. It leaves a natural, slightly matte finish. The only caveat is the limited shade range; the single tint works miraculously for light to medium skin tones, but won't suit everyone. Bottom line: An exceptional physical sunscreen. Elegant, effective, and great for daily wear. Highly recommend if you're looking for sun protection that also perfects your complexion.

Tinted sunscreen goes on smoothly and looks natural, feels good. Has several shades. Is kinda pricey but spf is worth it.

I normally wear the sunbum tinted sunscreen because it has a great matte finish, but I find it can sometimes be too drying and/or can settle in my fine lines/wrinkles. I decided to try this one as it was described as demi-matte by a couple reviews I watched. I would agree that the Elta UV Physical has a Demi-matte finish when first applied and if I stay inside. It also doesn’t settle in my lines/wrinkles as much as the sun bum. However, when I go outside (in 100 degree heat where I am) it does seem to get pretty shiny and take on more of that thick/tacky sunscreen feel. It dries down again pretty quickly once I’m inside, but I just really can’t stand that feeling. I think it will be a great sunscreen as the weather cools off some. It spreads really easily on the skin and blends perfectly into my fair/rosy skin. It doesn’t cause me any stinging or breakouts. I plan to stick to sunbum for the rest of the summer and rotate this one in once fall hits. Also, at first glance it appears to be pretty pricey, but the tube is almost double the size of most drugstore tinted sunscreens so I feel like it’s actually pretty reasonable.

Great sunscreen. Glides on very smoothly and is 100% mineral so does not have any chemical irritants to hurt my eyes. I can apply this to my eyelids, unlike chemical sunscreens, and the eyes are where the skin is thinnest and most susceptible to sun damage and aging. Slightly tinted which helps smooth my complexion.

I have tried this sunscreen around 5 months and I’m really like it! Not only does it provide excellent sun protection, but the subtle pink tint adds a light coverage, almost like a sheer foundation. It’s super lightweight, non-greasy, and doesn’t leave a white cast. Perfect for days when I want a natural, fresh look without heavy makeup. Highly recommend it!

I have heard so many good things about this sunscreen and I was really excited to try it. I am extremely picky with my face sunscreens because I want them to be mineral based while not leaving a white cast or any kind of orange tint. This sunscreen meets all those marks but the only problem I've run into is that it pills like nobody's business. (Look up skin care pilling if you're unsure what I'm talking about.) I had read a couple other reviews about pilling but I just figured maybe they were applying their products wrong. Nope. I have normal/dry skin. I always apply my products in lightest weight to heaviest weight as recommended. After moisturizing, I'd wait at least 10-15 minutes for it to dry before applying the sunscreen. And it still pilled everywhere. After much tweaking I have finally got it to stop pilling after completely skipping my CeraVe moisturizer (which I've never had to do with any other sunscreen) and applying a lot less of the sunscreen, which makes me a little worried I might not be getting full coverage. In every other way this sunscreen is perfect- it is lightweight, not greasy at all, no white cast, no orange tones, no fragrance. So I don't want to persuade you against getting this product- some people seem to not have the pilling issue at all, but there's a good chance it might be something you have to deal with. $40 is a lot to pay for a sunscreen that might not work for you or be incompatible with your other skin care products, so just take that into consideration before buying this product.

🏝️☀️I took the EltaMD Physical Broad Spectrum SPF 41 with me on a trip to an island, and it really protected my skin from the sun. It does feel a bit sticky when you first apply it, but that’s a small trade-off for how well it works. It has become my favorite sunscreen for beach days and sunny vacations.

Es excelente, tengo la piel y ojos muy sensibles y con este protector no tengo ningún tipo de problema al aplicarlo incluso en los párpados, no irrita, no pica, no se corre con el agua o sudor. Al ser con tinte deja un terminado "de buena cara", no parece que traes maquillaje pero unifica tan bonito que incluso podría no maquillarme. No se hace bolitas con los productos que uso de skincare antes y permite aplicar el maquillaje encima sin problema. Si eres de piel grasa ayuda a controlar el brillo facial pero sin resecar, de todas maneras despues de unas horas es necesario retirar el brillo. Al contener óxidos de hierro es ideal para quienes tenemos manchitas. Hay que dejar que se absorba bien unos minutos y el resultado es perfecto. Lo único malo quizá es que es más caro que otros pero lo vale
