This product met and exceeded my expectations. I have an old house with a tricky drain situation in my basement. I was trapped between bouts of random, unpleasant flare ups of sewer gas if I left the drain open or sealing off the drain completely and having to deal with pools of water from seepage in heavy rain. Since I installed this drain apparatus, I have not had any gas episodes, and I never have to rush home in times of heavy rain to release any seepage. In fact, I routed my dehumidifier hose right to the drain. That would not have been possible without the Quad Close.

Awesome saved us having to redo the drain!
