Beans Baked In Tomato Sauce (Pack of 4)

These beans are yummy but hard to find. I was so pleased to find them here.

They always taste great just like if you made them yourself! I let them cook down a little bit because it makes the sauce a little bit thicker and it soaks into the beans. Great brand I have been eating delicious food from since I was little! It’s imported from Greece! I just wish the price was less!

Nutritious, delicious 'gigantes' beans from Greece. I am glad I opted for the four pack- they were so good one was not enough. These beans are cooked thoroughly and come in a savory tomato sauce. Gigantes beans are a good source of protein with 6 grams per serving. One can was slightly dented but this did not effect the integrity of the package seal.

This pandemic got in the way of trip to Greece last year, and I have really missed authentic Greek food ( while I can cook it myself, it takes time and I guess I'm lazy :-) ). There is, or was, a restaurant near the foot of the Acropolis which serves beans very much like these. These cans are not cheap, but they are close enough to the gigantes I can get in Athens that I don't mind splurging a little. Oh, and those comments here about the dented cans? Someone may be paying attention as my cans did come intact / no dents.

They were delivered in great condition with no dents in the cans. Lots of time before they will expire. I will definitely reorder from this seller. Thank you!

Love these. Too expensive in gourmet grocery. Excellent taste and texture for canned beans. I use in soups, salads, with tomatoes, red onion cucumbers and feta, with vinaigrette. Not available where I live as dried beans.
