Outstanding Quality at a Great Price
To prevent water from seeping in along the conduit leading into our house (connecting to our circuit breaker panel), an electrician recently used Rectorseal along the outside of our home. We had a similar issue with our AC line, so I tried using Rectorseal myself. This product is amazing! Super easy to apply and works great, at a very low cost. Rectorseal is sort of like an industrial-strength "Play-Doh". As a duct seal putty, this is a perfect fixer to prevent water (and dirt) from leaking into our basement. Highly recommended!

Versatile and Easy to Use: Great for Sealing Gaps Around the House
The media could not be loaded. I came across this duct seal compound online and figured it would be a good idea to keep a bar in my workshop for future use. At the time, I didn’t have a specific project in mind, but it has already proven its value. I noticed some small gaps around the screens of my raised foundation and decided to give this compound a try to seal them up.It worked perfectly for what I needed. Even though I believe the compound is more commonly used for insulation-related sealing, I was concerned about bugs or small critters getting through those gaps. This sealant applied easily and gave me a solid, secure seal. I haven’t painted over it yet, but visually it looks like it’s holding up well.I ended up using almost a whole bar for this project, but I’m happy with the result and plan to pick up another bar just to have on hand for future repairs or sealing jobs. It’s always handy to have something like this around, and it’s proven to be a versatile solution.

Exceptional Value!
After recently residing my house, I needed a block of this material to seal the gas line's service entrance. Although the gap was small enough to seal with a bead of caulk, this stuff is easier and less messy to apply with the same result.Product Quality: It's tough to determine this type of material's quality visually although I've used this material and brand before and it's an excellent, moldable, non-hardening sealant.Product Use: Fresh from the delivery truck in 30 degree weather, the block was stiff, but still moldable. It became increasingly malleable with the rise in indoors temperature, reaching clay-like moldability.Although this material is sticky, it leaves no sticky residue on either hands or applied surfaces.Final Thoughts: If you need to seal the wire or pipe poking through your wall to the great outdoors, this is the stuff to use. It's less messy than caulk, arguably longer lasting, and there's considerably less waste material. Since it's non-hardening, it should last if stored properly. And it's a third of the cost on Amazon as at the big box store! I bought second block "just in case."

A++ Varmint and draft protection !
We have newly built house and they did not caulk or seal.any of our pipes and hoses coming into the house from the outdoor Central air unit. So in came the mice. Good thing I recall my father ( who was an electrician by trade ) use to use this plyable clay like.product around incoming wire and plumbing applications. This is a wonderful product and should be in every homeowners tool bag and workbench area ready to seal.out drafts and varmints!Great value for your bucks!

Super useful
I had no idea if the stuff would work, but it works incredibly well to help provide additional sealant around a kitchen sink drain as I reconnected the pipes. I use this in addition to a new gasket to provide additional safety from leakage and it felt great. It’s going to be useful in a variety of different household things now.

Been looking for this
This thing is exactly what I needed to seal a gap between floor end and outer front shelf of my camper. The gap is hidden inside a closed compartment in the storage, but since I've removed a wall that separated this compartment and the storage space, I needed to make sure no dust or bugs would come in. Worked as planned, it stays in place and you can always push it further for more adhesion or add more if needed. Great solution for that issue I had.
