MCHEETA Newest V802 Landline Telephone Call Blocking Device,Block Robocalls,Area Calls,Private Calls

The manual is terrible. Written in broken English and some things don't make since at all. The best manual is the guy that wrote the first review that was given the Cheeta Call Blocker. After reading his review I was able to block calls. Thats all I want it to do. I don't care about the time and date or anything else.It works. That is all I need.Someone should rewrite the manual for these guys or do a clear video on it.

Received this yesterday and after reading the most confusing instructions I have ever read, was ready to send it back. I called number of the supplier and told him what my problem was, he walked me through it. 1. Hook it up as described. 2. Using the handset of your phone, dial the number of the phone you want to block (without the 1) and hang up immediately after dialing. You will see the number dialed on the CallBlocky screen. 3 Press the Out button on the CB, 4. Press the Blacklist button. It will then block calls from that number. Have to wait now to see if it works, but I was very impressed by information given by the Customer Service Rep at HQ Telecomm Support.

Had to return because of functionality - whether it was my fault or the mfr was not determined. Return process was handled very quickly and satisfactorily.

This product has made a difference in our home. We were receiving at least 5 to 10 unwanted phone calls a day. We installed this device about a month ago and the calls have reduce greatly (down to approximately 2 calls a day). My only complaint is that date/year does not set properly on the display window. That being said, the product does maintain the current date, time and how many calls received. Overall it is works great!

This was so bad, I put in batteries, and followed the directions as best as I could, they are the worst, nothing worked as directed! Even just setting the date was frustrating. I don't know who wrote the directions booklet, but they need to go back and re-write it in plain coherent English. And also step by step. I tried everything with this, I have no clue how it got such a high rating. Would've given it zero stars but can't. I sent it back immediately. I just can't be bothered with stuff that doesn't work as it should even when reading the horrible instructions. I'm far from stupid, so I just can't be bothered with crap like this, and $42 isn't cheap!

Not quite as user friendly as I would of liked but works good

Maybe my rating isn't fair, just b/c I had already ordered a similar model previously, and THIS one not working just got me even more frustrated, but ... It STILL didn't work! I plugged it in, set the date/time then used my cell phone to try and verify whether or not it would block telemarketers; NOPE! I blocked my cell, then after calling back, aside from the fact that it didn't even SHOW some numbers calling, my cell phone included, it didn't BLOCK them either! Very frustrated; I'm going to try buying one more of these (DIFFERENT DESIGN/COMPANY) and after that screw it; I'll just disconnect my land-line if telemarketers keep calling; which they DO!

I was a bit skeptical after reading reviews on other similar products...but this one works fine. Glad i read the reviews.
