will not function by the directions given. Now own a useless shock collar
bought the product for a puppy that had control issue with. I was hesitant at applying on him. After a few weeks we decided to put it on him. We never could get it to go through the process of getting it to function. We emailed the company and was informed by the Dr. Trainer site was not a safe internet site and your information could be used by a scammer. Not trusting the site, we was unable to follow up on getting it to pair. I waited to pass the date to return. Now I am stuck with a useless shock collar that is non functioning.Update my reviewHad earlier issues with my trainer not working. Waited another week and was able to get it to work as it should. Not sure what the issue was(? Internet?), but it is functioning as should. Also, the dealer contacted me and offered to replace the one not working, so I did appreciate their offer to correct the problem. Kept the one I first purchased. Felt I was dealing with an honest dealer with them offering to replace the old. Just wanted to correct my initial my earlier review.

Really good value, Works really far, and great for very delicate dogs without a shock turned on.
This is a really good value and put my mind to ease knowing I could vibrate and use the audible noise versus shocking. We originally bought the bark collar to control the dogs barking. I would recommend this and wish I would have bought this first instead of the bark collar. This has the bark feature and remote. Our dog is a rescue from over seas and has come a long way with training and becoming a normal dog. He has been very scared of the world so this simple vibrate on the collar is enough to correct him. I struggled as I watched videos of how to train the dog by vibrating the collar while calling the dog. Unfortunately this was way to much for our dog. You can find tons of videos on dog collar training on youtube. However training like a wireless leash was not working for my dog. Because our dog was used to the collar vibrating as a warning to barking and then yelling at him if he continued to bark, this collar scared him more then anything when trying to train as a wireless leash. So instead we use it to keep the dog in line or correct when he is not listening. We call our dog 3 times and on the third time he gets a vibrate. He listens very well and responses great to it. We use it more of a correction then a wireless leash. Just to test how far it reached I got in the car and drove down the hill from our house while my kid pressed the button every 10 seconds. This impressed me as to how far it reached. I would say I went about the length of 2 football fields, or maybe 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile. It works best if you are in line of sight. As for us having a 100 acre farm field in front of us, it is easy to watch the dog take off and return when called, but when he doesn't respond to our call he gets a buzz. It even worked great in the house with correction at times too. I would call him and when he turned away to do his own thing, he got a vibrate and he is back to listening. The remote allows you to turn the bark feature on and off. I would recommend you setup the collar with your smart phone first. Setup by testing it yourself and then putting it on the dog for training. I was very skeptical about this looking cheaply made, but for the price this is pretty good quality. The remote I thought was cheesy at first but I am glad I bought this one instead of the previous version remote because this has the ability to hide the remote in your pocket with the switches turned off to prevent accidental pushes. Those switches are great. Always leave the rubbers on the collar to prevent shocks even though we always leave the switch off on the remote. And I have it programmed to never shock for barking. Just vibrate warning 1, vibrate warning 2, and then vibrate and yell NO on warning 3. Works great for that kitty cat he likes to bark at through the front window of the house every morning or UPS / Amazon delivery person. I will say it took our a dog about 2 weeks of pouting after we used it the first time on him. But ever since he has been a very good dog and only gets corrected and put back in line once in a while. Having a saluki mix dog that runs 40mph it is great to see him come running back with the push of a button.

Two collars failed within 24 hours of first use
Bought one of these because the app connectivity seemed like it would be helpful. Out of the box, the collar worked well, paired immediately with my phone, and all features seemed to work. Bright the dog in and plugged in the collar to charge using a standard Apple USB charger, seemed to work fine. Next day, the collar wouldn’t power on. Exchanged via Amazon for a second one, same issue. Worked fine first day. Plugged overnight to charge. Noticed that it wouldn’t power off that evening, but left it on the charger and noted that it still responded to the remote and my phone. Next morning, collar was super hot and wouldn’t power on. Removed from charger, let cool down. Plugged back in, now the charging light won’t come on. Clearly these are junk. Too bad, because the features seemed like they’d be great.

2-in-1 anti bark collar and remote training collar comes with an App to customize settings
Sat Feb 20, 2023. I have been using this bark collar now for a few weeks for my 12 year old Basset Hound. This breed of dog is very vocal, very loud and has a baying-like bark that is deep-throated that can sometimes go non-stop for prolonged periods. We needed to do something about it and after a lot of research and prior purchase/testing of various models, we purchased this one from Dr.Trainer.There are 4 different models of this Dr.Trainer collar but the T1sPro is a 2-in-1 remote training collar and an automatic anti bark collar. It offers a lot of great features and customizations that were unique to this collar. After I educated myself with some training videos on how to use this type of training collar (which I strongly recommend), I tested the various corrective functions with my dog to determine what level of vibration, sound and static shock setting he responded to. From the first day I put this collar on my dog, I observed an immediate improvement in my dog’s barking habits and I have been extremely pleased so far. I put it on after his breakfast and take it off by dinner time because it recommends the collar not exceed 12 hours a day.Let me share with you some of the great features I liked but before I do, I want to mention that this is one of the few 2-in-1 training collars on the market priced under $100 that has a remote for training and has an automatic anti bark function. It is also one of few that offers an App for your phone that allows you to customize the various corrective functions and features.1. The anti bark collar is automatic and does not require your intervention t9 train your dog. The collar will sense your dog’s bark and provides an automatic corrective response with vibration, audio sound and/or static shock (v/as/ss) based on the customized settings you set in advance.2. The collar is IPX8 waterproof and is made from a durable nylon material but it is not to be used as a leash collar.3. The device on the collar itself has a speaker at the top which provides good audible sound and a light indicator.4. It has an on/off button so you can turn off the collar when not in use to save battery life and has a USB input for charging. The unit comes with a USB charging cable and at full battery, the collar will last several days before requiring a charge.5. It comes with a hand held remote used for manual control of the corrective v/as/ss functions meant for one-to-one training. The remote also allows you to adjust settings and intensity levels. It has a safety feature to ensure that the intensity for static shock levels are not changed accidentally.6. I would keep the remote out of reach of children and recommend having a conversation with youngsters so they understand that the remote is not a toy and should never be handled. I say this because I had a neighbor who was using a training collar with their dog and their 6 year old son got a hold of the remote and was intentionally using the shock functions to arbitrarily disciplining the dog when parents were not around. This could be very detrimental and confusing to your dog.7. The remote has to be within the recommended proximity to the collar to the connect via BT. I have to say that I was very impressed because I was able to use the remote from the second floor of my home while my dog is on the first floor. However, like any other BT device, too many barriers/walls will interfere with the remote’s ability to connect to the collar.8. The most impressive feature of this collar is that is comes with an App that you can download to your phone, iPad or Apple Watch. Check which model comes with the App and if it is the full version. They are NOT all the same.9. You can use the App in lieu of the remote but I find it is easier to just use the remote if I need to intervene beyond the collar’s automatic functions. I think the App is meant as an easier way to adjust level and customize the collar’s settings.10. The App uses your dog’s profile (set up at start) to set certain default corrective v/as/ss settings and then from there, you can adjust every setting to effect the best corrective training specific to your dog.11. Both the v/as modes have a low, medium and high setting. You can select a prerecorded audible like an alarm sound or an automated male voice command saying No, Keep Quiet, Shut Up, Stop or Come Back. You can even record your own voice commands which was a nice feature. The only problem with this is that it repeats just the one selected command or gives any of the commands at random which may not be the right command for a given the situation. I am currently using the Keep Quiet command.12. The static shock mode has an adjustable range from 1 to 99 with subtle incremental increases to the static intensity. I think this provides a lot of range to find just the right setting that will work best for your dog.13. On a side note, I will say that I initially did not want a “shock” collar for obvious reasons but you can turn off the static function and never use it and with so many other great features, it’s a good collar. However, I did decide to try the static shock function on myself and it felt like an intensified version of the static shock you get when you touch something after you’ve dragged your feet across a carpet. Of course, the degree of intensity will depend on the setting you chose but I had it on 90 (out of 99) and it was not at all painful, just surprising even though I was expecting the static shock. It just made me jump when it was initiated but it helped me to better understand how this function can be an effective training tool especially with a stubborn breed like a Basset Hound. I think the static shock serves as a way to snap or distract your dog to stop it from whatever they’re doing.14. The other thing I like about the App is that the Training Mode allows you to customize the anti bark collar’s corrective response between a “repetitive” mode or a “progressive” corrective mode. The Repetitive mode will repeat the same corrective response based on your settings.15. The Progressive mode which I prefer, provides the ability to set different levels and combinations of correction for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd bark. So with the 1st bark, I set the vibration to low, audio sound to low and the static shock to off. If the dog barks again within 30 seconds of the 1st, the 2nd level response is triggered which I set the vibration to medium, audio sound to medium and the static shock still to off. If the dog barks again within another 30 seconds from the 2nd, the 3rd level response is triggered which I set the vibration to high, sound to high and now this is where I add the static shock response with the intensity level set to 60.16. This collar has an auto protection safety feature for the static shock function. If it is triggered 8 times in 1 minute, the collar will shut down for 2 minutes before resuming function. Also, if the in-between bark is longer than 30 seconds, the collar resets back to the 1st level response. It will take some testing and adjusting of the different functions to find what combinations and intensities will work best for your dog.17. The App provides a “Trigger Loudness” feature that allows you to test the barking volume of your dog so you can customize the sensitivity level of the collar to only provide a corrective response when the loudness is beyond a certain level. So if you want to allow your dog to bark when it’s a low/softer bark and not provide correction, this collar provides you with the flexibility to do that. That’s it for now. If there is something more to share as I continue to use it, I will provide an update.
