What is the difference in Model # 59511 and # C66U45B

I have purchased two of the model #59511. This ( 59511) is an updated number for the #C66U454B. On my fan search, I noticed many numbers that were interchangeable.If you purchase a fan, make certain it is a Casablanca - great quality and runs quiet. If you don't need the light kit - leave it off. Much cleaner look. Hope that helps.

What's the length of the down rod included with the fan? I have a 18-ft ceiling so would this fan come with a longer down rod?

Andrew, my ceiling is sloped and it is 11-ft where we put the ceiling fan. It only comes with a short down rod. I did purchase a longer down rod from a local distributor. I think it is 2 ft, but I can't remember exactly. It was under $20. The fan is great. Our electrician used everything that came with the fan even with the ceiling sloped and it works perfect. Only have to purchase a longer down rod. You must get the casablanca down rod. The others from the big box stores will not work properly. Hope this helps.

Can this be flush mounted?

This fan comes with a 2" and 3" downrod, so it can be a low-mount fan... but I don't know if that would meet your needs as a flush mount. Our fan is on a 24" downrod. By the way, we have been very pleased with this product. Installation was straightforward and it operates effectively and quietly. Good luck.
