House Foods Medium Hot Chinese Mabo Tofu Sauce, 5.29 Ounce - 10 per case

You only get ONE pouch!! I purchased this item based on the title/subject of the item clearly stated that there are 5.29 ounce each, 10 per pack. I ordered these items to cook for an event that I promised to contribute a dish, so I counted on them. There was only one box (a little larger than a palm) with one pouch inside. The box said each pouch could cook for 4 servings, which was enough to cook approximately one common store-bought pack of tofu. I had to run to the store to search for alternatives last minute and luckily found the exact ones.The product itself was good. I’ve never had this brand before. It was easy to use and the flavor was great. I got compliments from those who tried my food at the event.One star due to the false advertising on a non refundable product. Now I have seen the product and found the same ones in store, I’d say, it is WAY overpriced for just one packet but so cheap for a packet of 10 (that you won’t get). But, if you are looking for a mild spicy sauce that makes yummy MaPo Tofu and don’t want to go to stores to search for the sauce by paying a bit extra for the convenience, the sauce is good.

I'm not Chinese (in this life anyway), but I've found two Chinese comfort foods that make me just as happy as mac and cheese and P, B & J on soft white bread with cold milk. My two faves are: 1. Mabo (or Mapo) tofu with rice, and 2. Chinese sausage (lop chong?) cut up and steamed with rice and served with a dash of soy sauce, sesame oil and chopped scallions. Yummy!

Read the reviews! It says 10 per case. It's 1 package. Don't be fooled. Is it good? Who knows? No value for money money. There will be ease of use . I don't recommend purchasing from this seller though!

Took a while to arrive but worth it

This stuff is great!! The flavor definitely outshines any of the other mabo tofu sauces. Don't worry, medium-hot isn't really hot - there's just a slight hint of heat. The only thing I wish is that there was more sauce in the packet. Try mixing in some fresh mushrooms and onions - it adds flavor and stretches the servings a little more.

It's a scam. Thinking I would be getting 10 boxes, I received only box. Details are misleading and consumers are paying good money for item. Not worth the money-no value.

LITERALLY ONLY COMES WITH 1 PACKET!!! Don’t waste your money! I’m so annoyed! It says on the description that it comes with 10. What a joke.

Arrived promptly. Tastes good and is helping me use more tofu in diet. Leftovers stores very well. Price is reasonable; and most important, availability is important since not found locally.
