I love the design of this seat cover, in particular the ease with which it can be taken in and out of the car. It covers all of the seat and the floor, with extra flaps for the sides. However - I have a 90 pound lab who loves to swim, and I am often putting a very wet and muddy dog into my car. I do not find this product to be 100% waterproof. My seat is usually damp, and sometimes muddy after a good romp. I find I have to put a towel on the seat first to ensure that there will be no wet mess.I would highly recommend this to anyone with a dry dog, but I'd add another layer if your canine friend loves the water!

I waited to post a review on this product until I had the chance to use it for about a month or so and here we are. I decided to pay more for this particular car seat cover due to their claim of it being strong and tough. This is copied and pasted directly from their ad: "TOUGHER THAN THE TOUGHEST CHALLENGES, THIS COVER WILL NEVER BREAK, MOVE NOR LEAK". Unfortunately that is wrong. After a little over a month of on and off use with my dog, it is coming apart. The straps that they used to secure the handles behind/below the bottom seat are quite cheap and have torn off, which means now the cover will not stay put and is essentially useless (see picture). Also, the quilted padding that goes down on the seat started deteriorating right away and the fuzz/hair ended up all over my truck, stuck to my dogs paws and legs, and then of course all over my house. I am hoping that they actually stand by their claim of "100% guarantee of your money back". Stay tuned.....

On the underside of the dog seat cover there is a nonslip material that holds the seat cover to the bench. Is also has Velcro holes for the seat belts so you can use a harness and connect it to the seat belt too. This seat cover is absolutely amazing!It is a must have for all dog owners. It also came with a carrying bag with straps.I have a Yukon and it covers the entire couch seats and the middle, it also work as a hammock and the dogs feel very safe and protected, it also fit and works great for my sons truck…

This is a great product! 1. It keeps the dog hair (and occasional puke) off of my seats while still allowing me to seat belt my dogs in, 2. The hammock style makes it very easy for my 12 year old 70 lb lab mix to lay comfortably without fear of falling off the seat and onto the floor, 3. The hammock style also helps keep the chihuahua from leaning into the front and grabbing my drink or snack, 4. I can easily hide items in my car out of view on the floor of the backseats under the hammock, 5. It was SUPER easy to install. I highly recommend this product to all of my friends and family with pets. The hammock style also helps keep the cat carriers from moving around and I think limiting the cats' view on trips to the vet helps keep their stress down a little.

I loved it at first. But it only took about two months of everyday use to get a large rip in the seem. I'm not sure how to warranty it either. I will have to come up with a new solution.Update: WE LOVE ANIMALS immediately responded to my email and supplied me with a replacement. Amazon however, has not updated my review after several attempts. Hopefully they post this one. I recommend this product. I believe the first one ripped because it was washed (on cold gentle) the second one lasted over 6 months. If you want to clean it, hang it up and use some low pressure water to rinse it off. I would like to point out though that I do outside sales and my dog (55lbs, who leans up against the front of it to get as close to me as possible) travels with me everyday. Even though two ripped on me, one was from washing it, the other is from excessive use. Most people won't be using this every single day. With normal use, I would expect this to last a couple of years. I just ordered a third one for my fathers car, we have a 12 day road trip planned and I am confident that this will hold up well enough that I will get several months of daily use out of it after the trip. The seat cover has been on my car seat since mid spring . I took off to clean it and found that the dye (black) from the seat cover had stained the leather (tan) of my entire back seat!! Have not been able to find a product to restore the leather so instead of protecting the seat, it destroyed the color of the leather! Do not buy unless you have black seats as that will be the color you will end up with.

Excellent product. My Blue Heeler loves it. She no longer slides around on the back seat which is a real plus since she's 14 yrs old. And she no longer wants to sit on the front passenger seat since it's not covered and leather too.I don't have back seat head rests so I used shoe laces to attach the straps to the car seat tethers. I didn't want to cut the straps so this had worked out wonderfully.I haven't washed this yet, but I'd hand wash it and line dry it just to be extra careful with it.I'd buy this again!

This car seat cover works extremely well at keeping my dogs hair contained to the back seat of the car. I have two Husky mix dogs who are blowing their coats and it is a never ending battle to keep up with the hair. Confining the hair to the back seat allows me to look a lot more presentable! Bonus is that the hammock-style suggests a boundary to my dogs and they don't try to get in the front seat any longer. I have washed the white blanket that comes with this a couple of times and it has held up well. I just vacuum the cover and it is really easy to do and it comes really clean. The only problem I had was that one of the Velcro tabs was missing from the cover so I had to add one. I am really surprised at how well this cover has held up with my rowdy dogs!
