My last snorkel was the ScubaPro Shotgun. I purchased that one in 1988 when I was 14. I lost it in a heavy surf exit last winter and it broke my heart. This snorkel has so far lived up to all my expectations as well. If you are going to spend a lot on a snorkel, it had better stay out of the way when you are diving and be there when you hit the surface and want to go off air. Durable, well made, and stays out of the way when I need it the most. Great job!

It was time for a new snorkel. My old one was yellowed and looked a bit yucky. The new one arrived quickly and worked great.

I go under waterfalls, through rapids, and in the surf. Round snorkels get wobbly in the current... this one doesn't. It is an oval shape which means it has a high capacity but a lower overall cross section. For me that is a good thing. It also has a purge valve on the bottom, and a unique design on the top... so even in rough water and waterfalls I can do what I really need to do... BREATHE!
