Grannicks Bitter Apple Flavour Deterrent for Dogs 8oz (1 Pack)

My dog began excessively licking his front paw after injuring it in December and continued to lick it long after the paw had healed, causing red raw patches of skin to be visible. We tried a number of things to stop him and tried this spray on a whim. We spray his paws twice a day and his fur has now grown back and he doesn't lick them. I think we will need this spray for a while still but hopefully we can wean him off it eventually, but of not, £12 every 2 months isn't an awful amount to pay to avoid the vets and their bills.

As with most products of this type, it works intermittently and for a short period of time. Note that it appears to contain isopropyl alcohol by the smell and so isn’t healthy for dogs to consume in any appreciable amount. I wouldn’t buy it again because it hasn’t really worked for us.

This worked a treat on our furniture when our teething puppy was biting everything. On well used areas we had to keep reapplying (sofa), but our doorstops were left alone the whole time. The only negative, to no fault of its own, was our puppy associated this negative taste/experience with the detangle spray we use on her fur, so she's been skeptical and hated grooming ever since

I have a miniature dachshund that can fit perfectly under the sofa and get to the wires😭 I spray it all around the rectangle of sofa and she won’t go near it. It’s quite pricey but it works and for me I’ll take the price over needing new cables. I’m even considering spraying the bottom of the Christmas tree because if she pulls anymore baubles off, my head might just explode. Get a puppy they said, it’ll be great they said!!! was a little sceptical at first I have to be honest. However my scepticism soon left when I used it to spray my 9yr old dogs ears , then when my 6yrold dog tried to lick the other dogs ears even the smell sent her walking away.
