Installed without issue & work fine. Contrary to the idiot who laid the black plastic Accuvents in DIRECT sunlight expecting them not to distort and then making a video to show the world how black plastic distorts in direct sunlight. Come on, really? Engage your brain before showing the world the obvious. Aren't they suppose to be installed UNDER the roof out of direct sunlight? Needless to say, it's 97 degrees and they are holding back the blown in insulation just fine. Currently residing the house and installing new soffit and not one bit of insulation laying in them. Air moving just fine above the AccuVents. Isn't that the real purpose? Cheers everyone!

These work great for sealing wall to roof deck yet allowing breathability

Would be great for new construction but not so great for existing or remodeled homes.

This is a quick way to vent the attic roof from soffit to ridge vent. This can stand the pressure of batt insulation packing. It might seem flimsy, but once it's in and packed in, it performs as a decent soffit vent. Also, compared to a similar flexible U-shaped vent product, this one can be trimmed at the edges for the rafters that aren't perfectly spaced. Just be careful stapling them in, they might crack at that joint. Also avoid exposure to sun.
