I think I've written a review in this product before, but it was just the cup. I misplaced it and ordered another one because I love the thing (doesn't even feel like I have shark week anymore, cramps are minimal which is a godsend). The reason that I'm reviewing now is because Amazon kept this thing super hush-hush after I bought it. In the email to let me know it shipped, it was listed as a "item hidden for privacy." So imagine my surprise when it arrived, partially visible in the shipping package. I'm too old care, but it I definitely laughed out loud.

I love my diva cup. I haven't worn tampons or pads in years. Once you get used to inserting the cup, it's so easy. Literally only have to empty it twice a day... I do morning and night. Life changing... like for real.

Second period using this product and can confidently say I will NEVER go back to tampons or pads.Pros:-no plastic or paper waste from wrappings like tampons or pads- no additional period trash-reusable-easy to store-no leaking (yet)-no risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome-only have to change it 2 times a day (I do it in the am and pm shower)-just dump the blood, rinse, and reuseCons (not really though)-have to ensure the cup “pops open “ around your cervix so you don’t leak but it’s not a big dealOverall, this tool has made me feel empowered with more intimate knowledge about my period than ever before. I NO longer feel icky or dirty during my period like I did with tampons. Tampons made me feel like I was gushing so much blood and smelled horrible but the cup has shown me that I only bleed 1/2oz!!! Like what?! And I’m no longer dealing with any period smell like before.

After 5 months of using menstrual cups, I decided to give a try to Diva cups. My best decision ever, I bought the first number 1 But I had to change it every 5 hours on my heavy days. So even though I turned 30 recently and do not have a child or I have never been pregnant, wanna buy Diva number 2 it was a game changer In my heavy days I can weary 8 hours or 12. 🥰🥰🥰 the best thing is, I do not feel anything very comfortable. The small one is the Lena cup I just love that mini cup for my last day.tips: Take your time, practice, and be patient once you get the right position it will change your life. A menstrual cup is the best thing ever 🙏pretty grateful change in my life ❤️.

The diva cup works better for me than other brands. I won’t try anything else at this point.

I purchased this new diva cup recently to replace the one I had lasted me for eight years. One day I forgot to store it away properly and my cat decided it had to be a toy left out just for him. He ended up chewing a hole in it so it was time to retire that one. If you follow the instructions to ensure it's seated correctly you shouldn't have any leakage issues. However, on the heavier days of my cycle I do pair this with a seventh generation panty liner just for that extra bit of protection. After my cycle I run this through the dishwasher in one of those baskets you can place in the top rack to hold smaller items. Then I put it in the storage bag that it came with and put it away until next month.I remember when I was first told about the DivaCup I was very reluctant to give it a try. I am glad I overcame that hesitation because I do not miss tampons and those awful strings. I do not miss how those filled the garbage can and the smell when it came time to change the bag. Quick tip: It is possible to figure out how to avoid the need to flush it out in a public area. For me, I make sure to empty it in the morning before work and then I'm good until I get home. I hope that you're able to find a pattern that works well for you. I will always recommend a DivaCup over tampons any day!
