Love love love 47 fair skin dry Sensitive to ingredients —————————————- So if you’ve read my other reviews that are in the pic with all items I bought at same time I did a lot of research to learn my skin and my issues—-I’m 47 with dry sensitive skin (products sensitivity) not skin issue sensitive—there’s a difference —-a little redness around the nose and discoloration around my eyes —Paul's choice have really made me relax about getting older every single item I bought has not dried me out and my skin is slowly looking so much better! —-genius how they put certain ingredients together—-everything else falls short and I like pricey products—- GREAT PRICE GREAT PRODUCTS if they keep up the quality and price I’ll be a lifer :) SMELL—I do not smell anything DRYING-not at all and if you follow your whole skincare routine it does not dry you out very soft and clean feeling TEXTURE-is luxurious QUALITY-intentional smart ingredients VALUE FOR MONEY-if it stays at these prices I think amazing specially when they go on sale EFFECT ON SKIN-clean soft fresh feeling

My skin is EXTREMELY dry and every face wash I’ve tried (and I’ve tried COUNTLESS), has left my face feeling parched and tight with even more dryness. I’ve been using this product for about 6 months now and LOVE IT! It’s the only face wash that removes my makeup AND leaves my face feeling hydrated. Yuck… I’m cringing at the thought now of how my face felt using other face washes before Paula’s choice, haha.

Love this cleanser. Removes tough makeup easily. Creamy,rinses off with water.

I've been using this for a few years and absolutely love it.. its gentle and effective and has never broken me out or caused irritation. It had a very slight, natural coconut scent. With this latest tube, I noticed my skin being red and irritated and have had a few breakouts over a week. I've made no itger chages in my routine. Also the smell is more petroleum like, or maybe it's gone bad.. no coconut smell and the texture is different. It doesn't seem to clean as well. Idk if I got a bad batch or the formula has changed but I don't think I can trust it again and will be looking for a replacement. Very disappointed.

I have not used a Paula’s Choice product previously - so this is not a brand review - it’s only a product review. I wanted to try this product out and purchased it on Prime Day because honestly it would have been less expensive if I didn’t like it. I should state that I have extremely dry skin so I am reporting how that worked for me. I have previously tried other cleansing balms and micellar waters and been disappointed because I never felt as though they took off the make up. I put a little more than a pea size amount on my finger and began massaging my face and I could see that my makeup was coming off. I use a primer with my waterproof mascara and it melted the products I use off my face. It’s also important to note that I use sunscreen on my face and wear full coverage make up. A little goes a long way with this product. You don’t need a lot. I felt that my skin was prepped for cleaning my face with my face wash after. Using this product as a step one, along with my other product, really cleansed my face. As far as residue left on ny face from the balm, I didn’t notice anything because I thoroughly patted ny face dry and then washed it with another product (First Aide Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser). Between the two, ny face was clean, glowing, and hydrated. I recommend this Paula’s Choice product. I feel like for the cost and the results, this is a great product that you can use everyday and will only need to replenish one other time in a year. Hope this review helps! Did a patch test with too faced liquid lipstick using this, the inkey list, and cerave. This one came in third for being able to remove waterproof make up. Left a bunch of residue behind. Might be good as a gentle cleanser for dry sensitive skin but not as a cleansing balm in my opinion.

Utterly useless, especially for the price. I purchased this as tube packaging is much more convenient for travel, and I have used Paula’s Choice products previously. This was a serious disappointment as the balm doesn’t remove makeup and that is kinda its purpose. I took this with me on a recent trip as my first cleanser in the two step routine, and OMG, what a struggle this was to remove all eye and face makeup daily. In saying that, as this was a holiday, I didn’t even have much makeup on to begin with. So this product has been a complete waste of money.
