This is a very easy to use out of the box LED mask, while offering a much more advanced option by using your phone. If you just want to use it out of the box, there's an on/off switch and and up and down button to toggle between the different designs. There's a lot of different designs too. From the mundane to some super cool ones. The only downside is the mask is incredibly flat. It's not necessarily uncomfortable, but you definitely noticed a flat piece of plastic against your face versus a mildly form fit. Honestly it's not even that bad. They add little eye cushions that really negates that. I honestly have not tried the phone app. Was just so easy out of the box, I just didn't even bother trying it yet. Another upside to this is the USB-C charger it uses which means no need for batteries. I don't know, it was spendy, but I feel as though I got the most out of my money. Would recommend to others. Would imagine this being excellent for a rave.

Great product no instructions worth 2 cents please play with the interface remember swipe left or right is your friend even when all else fails. I bought this early in the season and have seen it increase in price by almost $30 dollars you bought early I would give this mask a 4 with you got slammed for $80 plus dollars I would give it more of a 3+

I gave this to my grandson, who is a bit of a techy, for his 13th birthday. He loved it! It only took him a few minutes to download the app and start figuring out how to work it. He said it was the coolest present ever. I’m pretty sure it will occupy him for a long time. He’s an adult-sized 13 year old, and the mask fit his face well. He can see straight ahead through the eye slits, but it might be difficult to walk around much as he can’t see down. Still, it was the hit of the day. The graphics are great. The only thing that would make me rate it less than 5 stars is if it quits working like some reviewers have mentioned. As long as it keeps working, then I’d highly recommend it for a hard to buy for teenager.

If it works, it looks cool but it doesnt stay on a single photo. It just flips through all the photos for no reason and the app isn't clear on directions. The touch sensor might be too sensitive perhaps? I just couldn't get it to stay on the picture I chose from the app. It kept flipping faces.

The fire setting is very impressive. Some of the faces are a little unclear, but what do want for this price? I also enjoyed the text settings. It’s not 4k, but it’s really a neat novelty if you want the coolest costume of the party or for trick or treating. And it only gets better as the night gets darker. Grab an extra set of batteries, one set won’t last the whole night.

The app demands location access at all times. The mask disconnects as soon as the phone screen turns off, and upon doing so, changes to other preprogrammed patterns at random. Color depth on the mask's lights is awful. The app is buggy and unintuitive, and sending images to the mask often fails for no reason. Uploading animated images is apparently not possible.

These masks are awesome. They were a hit at Halloween parties.
