Love this little invention! It spring clamps on, is adjustable for different size sofa arms, and fits ours perfectly. Works great for holding your drink. I might have to buy a second one for the other side of the sofa.

I ordered this hoping to eliminate the need for extra furniture in my small apartment living room but it just didn't work out for me. However, I believe the issue was due to my particular couch as the side arms are only 7 inches wide.The arms on this tray don't snap into place or have any way to lock in position- its just springs that move the tray arms inward. The springs were not tight enough to keep the tray firmly in place on a narrow couch arm. For couches with wider arms, this item would probably work well.

Great even if you have a coffee table! This item is well worth the $20.00 (probably wouldn’t pay much more than that). It’s very easy to use and clean and installation is just unfolding the side grips. We have quite a unique couch and the springboard type sides allow for this table to adjust to the odd shape of the couch arm. My Mom came to visit and thought it was so great she ordered one before she even got home! And even with a coffee table, it’s nice to have so you don’t have to bend forward or move out of your comfy spot to trap a drink or your remote! Buy this!!! You won’t regret it!

The concept of this was appealing. I was excited to get it since there isn't a table on my side of the living room. The arm of my chair is narrow, but this was advertised to work on any armrest. Unfortunately it isn't stable. The smallest movement sent it tipping and spilling everything on the floor. I'm not sure how I could have jury-rigged it to make it work. It would probably work better on wider armrests.
