Good book, it helped me a lot
This book is worth reading, it will explain complex things in simple way and present how it all combines together.I deal with digital marketing agencies for long time in my family retail company to promote my business, after reading the book this task will be so much easier. What I understand now is how and what and why we need to do certain things for our retail, for example how actually our social media efforts influence price of Ads that we need to pay.Actually, never no digital marketing agency told me that, also I know after reading the book where our money is wasted. Also, after reading the book, we started doing many things by ourselves, which will save us money and bring at least same result-I expect better results. After reading the book and first digital marketing meetings but having knowledge of digital marketing from the book, it was so much easier to communicate with everyone involved from agency side.Book is conversational but it is formatted as a technical manual (I like it), it seems author likes to present information in "old school" way which resembles University Academic books. He sticks to the point, and tries to guide you through digital marketing as a whole.Be prepared that by reading the book you might realize how we wasted years of paying services to agency, when we could do it much better by ourselves. We have this book as a user manual for our digital marketing now permanently in our company.Biggest conclusion, after reading the book: Digital marketing is not so complex as everyone claims (especially agencies that charge for digital marketing services)

A really well written guide on digital marketing for any retail
The book is well written regarding explaining complex processes behind doing online marketing for retail. It has a great structure, and it slowly brings you into more complex processes behind digital marketing. Most importantly, it explains why digital marketing efforts should be made without paying Ads and why the basis of any digital marketing efforts needs to be done without costs while relying on employees and other internal resources.I finally realized why it is important to focus on our free content without pushing paid promotions...which is how the book starts in first chapters by explaining the difference between paid and non-paid promotion techniques. I learned how to do a very low-cost PR, and author directs you to useful tools that save time and most importantly money.Book gives you some free resources for download in the form of infographics, which proved themselves very useful for our family owned retail business.I ordered a few pcs of the book, and it became our new favorite read in our offices. After reading the book based on new knowledge, we decided to reformat our digital marketing efforts, and not relly anymore on expensive outsourced agencies. If you want someone to start loving digital marketing, give him this book as a present.

Excellent and valuable book
The author really easily explains complex subjects from social media algorithms, to how your content that you create for free actually lowers the prices of all the paid Ads. Many parts of books I think are applicable also to any other branding online and wholesale. Book covered all the topics that were worrying me for years for my business, and now I understand that simply nowhere I found a simple set of explanations like in this book. It has a very clear structure, all information is relevant and to the point. It's easy to read but provides a comprehensive view of the topic. What I loved the most was the fact that author backed up all his statements with evidence. At the end of the book he provides citations. Little personal opinion, a lot of useful info. It's really a must-read so you understand the psychology and digital marketing concepts on how to drive customers to you in a world where there are so many services competing for people's attention
