BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
So I ordered the Premium Beard Oil and when I got it the oil worked great but there was no smell. I contacted Honest Amish customer service and told them the scent was very weak if not not existent. They said no problem and sent me a brand new 2oz bottle in 3 days. Just the fact that they stood behind the product not asking me to send it back in order anything speaks volume about Honest Amish as an American produced company. They honored their word and I am now a lifetime customer from here on out. Also, the new oil smelled amazing. Soft beard and hydrated skin underneath feels so good. Give them a shot, 100% worth every penny. Quality of the oil is unicorn level good. Aaron

Great Beard Oil That Actually Works!
I've tried multiple beard oil products, and this is the only one that truly reduces itching—and on some days, it even eliminates it completely. It also noticeably reduces skin flakiness, which is a huge plus. While it’s not completely odorless, it definitely isn't stinky either. The scent is subtle and pleasant enough not to be overwhelming. One thing to note is that it goes fast, so you’ll find yourself needing to buy more fairly often—but honestly, it’s worth it for how well it works. Pro tip: Use less than you think you need and rub your hands together for a bit to warm up the oil and "activate" it before applying. This makes a big difference in how evenly it spreads and absorbs. Overall, I highly recommend this product—it does the job better than anything else I've tried!

Excellent all-around beard oil
I have tried a variety of different beard oils, but I always come back to Honest Amish premium as my "go-to". I've used it on my beard at various lengths and have always had a good experience. This oil does a great job of taming my thick beard, and also provides excellent moisture to both the hair and skin. This oil is the only one I'v tried that is able to consistently eliminate my beard flakes. The oil leaves my beard soft and supple with a nice sheen. It provides just enough hold to keep my beard from being a bushy mess, while also leaving it soft and flexible; if you are looking for a strong hold, or to sculpt the shape of your beard with a product, you will probably need to use an additional balm or butter for this purpose. The scent is mild and reminiscent of a woodshop, and I can also detect a warm nutty scent that kind of reminds me of a warm rice pilaf (in a good way). You'll enjoy the nice smell when you apply the oil, but it will not over power you, or others, as the day goes on. There is not the strong cologne type of scent that many other oils have. In my personal taste, i would prefer the smell to be a just a bit stronger, but to each their own. The bottle has an old-timey apothecary look to it, and is made of frosted glass which allows you easily see the vibrant color of the oil, and how much you have left. The bottle is topped with a glass dropper that allows you to easily control the amount of oil you use. I will say that if you take the bottle travelling, the bottle will leak slightly even with a hard twist; this is typical of every dropper-style bottle I've had, and I would recommend using a small zip-loc bag when you travel. I've had great success with this oil by putting it into my damp (not wet), warm beard as soon as I get out of the shower. I use about 10 small drops on my fingers and work it into my beard and skin, then use a boar brush and horn comb to spread the oil and style my beard; this has given me great results. I also rub my fingers through my hair and scalp, which gives my head-hair an extra bit of sheen, hold, and healthy look. I use this oil every day as described above, and the bottle usually lasts me 3-4 months, which is a great value. Overall, this is an excellent all-around beard oil for daily use.

this one smells literally like wet lumber or fresh cut 2x4s
This is probably my 3rd or 4th brand of beard oil to try. A lot of other oils have a "woodsy" scent to them, this one smells literally like wet lumber or fresh cut 2x4s. I don't mean that in a bad way, its just different. My beard feels as soft or probably a little softer than when I use other brands. The oil feels different in my hands, too. Its hard to describe, but it just seems like a more natural, less processed oil than the others I have tried. Another thing that is different from other brands I have tried is that no matter how much I use, it all seems to absorb into my beard, whereas with other brands, even a drop too much and it would just coat my hands. I never seem to have oily hands after applying this. I like the dropper, that's a feature I haven't had with the other brands I have tried. PROS- packaging, quality of the oil, natural, seems to make my beard soft CONS- the smell is pretty good, but I've smelled other brands I liked better, if that's important to you; I ordered this with the heavy duty balm, and one of them seems to make my face itch instead of relieving the itch, at least for the first 30 minutes or so after I apply it

Smells like taco meat
Its a good combination of oil but the cumin oil in it gives it a taco meat smell, which I don’t care for at all. Other than that its a quality blend of oils. I’d personally add essential oils to cover up that funny smell.

Honest Amish for Life!!
I will never turn to another product! I know it may sound exaggerated but I’ve been buying goods from our local Lancaster County Amish community for decades. But I had never given a thought as to how they keep their beards so nice and fresh looking. This is a group that has had beards for centuries! I decided to give it a shot and I’m completely sold! They use all organic ingredients that leaves the beard and my mustache soft and manageable. I use their oil and balm right out of the shower. I few dabs of oil and then the balm while the beard and mustache is damp. I grew a handlebar mustache a few years ago and gave up due to the Daily use of heavy wax to keep it together. Since using these products, my mustache is so manageable that it stays in the handlebar shape all day and there’s no heavy wax or buildup. Let me not forget to mention that I’m in my 1st month of growth and this is the time when the hairs aren’t trained!!! So I can pull out my comb anytime to freshen it up along with the beard with ease! I use their Beard and Body soap for the initial wash, and then the oil followed by the balm. For me it’s been the perfect trio. The bonus for me is the manly woodsy scent it has instead of perfumes.

Truly PREMIUM, my favorite beard oil
I have tried Original and Premium from Honest Amish, but as someone with sensitive skin who also deals with seborrheic dermatitis, the Premium is SOOOO much better for me. It feels lighter on my face, my beard appears to drink the stuff, and when it goes on my skin under the beard it gives a nice cooling sensation similar to taking a drink of water when your throat is dry. I like it so much more than the original in fact I'm in shock at the lack of love for this product. The original is great, but Premium is the top beard oil on the market in my opinion. Not even a debate for me. I like the scent, kind of a mix of sweetness and wood shavings, maybe some don't like that, but it's masculine and fresh. So I'm a fan. If you don't have skin sensitivity maybe Original is your better option, for me though, I have FAR BETTER results with the Premium and won't return to Original. Both are good, but I really believe THIS IS Premium!

Original is better
I've gone through an entire bottle of this previously, and a bottle of the original. Although that doesn't sound like a lot, they last me ~6+ months each, and I used them every day. I bought the premium again, thinking maybe the first time around, my experience would be different, and I would like it more...especially since it appears to have better ingredients than the original, even though they are both very good. I have a thick beard, medium coarseness, and ~3" long usually. Here's the comparison for me: Original: Feels light on the beard, and moisturizes the skin pretty well. If I didn't use for a day or 2, "beard ruff" would come around in some form. Again my beard is very thick, and the skin below it is very demanding. YMMV. Scent is great with clove, allspice, and a warm spice note all around. I really like the scent on the original. The light beard feeling is great, because it feels like there isn't anything on the beard. Shine is there, as with all beard oil, but not super shiny, and will fade throughout the day. Softens the beard decently as well. Premium (this product): Feels heavy on the beard. Really not a fan of how it feels on the beard after application, and throughout the day. Scent is very woody. Not a big fan of this scent, but the scent isn't extremely strong, and fades fairly quickly. In moisturizing and softening the beard is really where this one shines at. While using this product, I rarely ever get any "beardruff" even if I miss a day or two. It also makes the beard softer than most products. Overall, I would just pick the Original. I feel like if they made a product that was in between both, and took the best of both, it would be the best product on the market. These are both great products, but one just isn't for me. I would buy the original again, but not the premium.
