So I’ll admit, I’ve been cooking since I was a kid. I even got my daughters their own chef knives, and I have been using their knives because I’ve used mine to the point the stone would take me a long time to bring the edge back. I won my 1st set of wusthof knives over 10years ago. I have 2 sets and I’ll tell you, they could barely cut an apple, after the neglect. But this tool, brought back the edge to new, I will no longer neglect my knives. After bringing the edge back, I must remember to hone my knives regularly.. but once again this sharpener. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The price, the value, the easy as 1.2.3 my knives are better then new. (still trying to figure why my kiddos didn’t see this in my wishlist!) Best investment in my kitchen besides my wok, and kitchenaid free-standing mixer.

Super easy to use.. and get a razor sharp edge fast! I do reccomend buying one of the off-brand .5"x12" inch sanding belt kits so you can get some intermediary grits. I did 240 to 600 to 6000 grit and got a mirror polished razor edge in just a few minutes. Amazing sharpener and worth the price!

Easy to use and does a much better job than the old hand stoning method. Must have around the kitchen. Need to know where the bandaids are till you get used to using really sharp knives again :).

I bought this tool primarily for sharpening knives & scissors, but have already used it successfully on garden tools and drill bits as well, and found it works well for all of these...and to a lesser extent will even work on chisels.The Work Sharp is a well made tool and the bands seem to be very good quality as well. I have read and seen reviews on Youtube which say the belts should last between 70-100 sharpening's and I believe this will prove to be true, as I am already approaching 50 with two of my belts and they are still working very well.Neither the tools motor nor the blades you are sharpening get very warm when you are working and you really quickly get a feel for using the tool. Better still, this tool is a real time saver. I tend to wait to sharpen knives until the whole drawer full are in need of it, and when using a stone, this will keep you in the garage a while. But with the Work Sharp, you can have a shaving quality edge in just a couple of min and can sharpen 10 knives in about 20 min.I have only had my Work Sharp for a few weeks but can tell it is a tool I'm going to get a lot of use out of and expect it will give many years of good service.I recommend ordering it with one spare set of of bands just to have them handy as friends and family are already asking me to sharpen knives and scissors for them.
