ProKeeper Onion Keeper – BPA-Free, Airtight Storage Container for Freshness and Long-Term Storage

This onion keeper really is my favorite of all time! I am on my third one and I hope they never quit selling them. I can’t tell you if it is dishwasher safe, I would not take the chance of ruining it. This onion keeper has a nice, tight fitting lid with a stainless steel plate built into it that does not allow any smells to escape. It holds a medium sized onion either whole, sliced or diced; I usually keep diced onions in mine for sandwiches and salads. It keeps them fresh a lot longer than simply wrapping leftovers in a piece of aluminum foil. They are durable, but like I mentioned above, I only hand wash mine. They are a really good value, handy for ready-to-use onions and I have gifted many of these. I will continue to buy as long as they are available! Fingers crossed.

Great onion container! The metal disc in the top really keeps the onion odor away. Can store a large onion & keep it fresher than plastic wrap or bag. This was a replacement for my old one that was 6+ years old. Is dishwasher safe.

This is one kitchen item that I will always have, it truly locks in the odor. But I do sanitize both top and bowl by spraying hydrogen peroxide before washing. Well worth the extra step and avoid the smell of raw onions. I'm now on my 3rd keeper. Each one lasted at least 5 years, provided you don't accidently drop it and it develops a crack. It is the best Onion Keeper.

It keeps the smell out of the refrigerator. Works better than a plastic container.

I’ve ordered 6 of these! Replaced one I broke and gave as gifts. They keep all the onion smell out of your fridge. The stainless top absorbs the odor, yes the plastic inside can smell like onions but the odor never escapes the container. I often have half an onion left. I either place the half in the base or I’ll slice the remaining onion and pull out what I need later.

A perfect solution for limiting onion smells in the refrigerator, storage containers, and the drawer where I keep the storage containers. If the company made a larger container I’d buy it for sweet onions.

The bowl for this item is plastic and gets really smelly after using it for a couple of months. And I mean really smelly! The bowl needs to be glass. I wouldn't order this because it smells so bad after using for a few months.

This purchase was a replacement as the lid of my original one split after at least 10 years. I love this container for left over raw onion. It seems to absorb the smell so it goes in the fridge. I was really happy when I saw it was available on amazon.

I love this because most Tupperware or store brand plastic containers retain the onion smell. This one does not. I’ve used it a few times now and I wash it as normal and it does not stink like onion after great value for its dollar $20 might seem a lot for a container but it’s worth it.!

There is no container that keeps onion smell from contaminating everything in the fridge like this little container. I now have 2 because they work so well, Just be careful when removing lid not to split it, slowly and carefully remove
