Q: I have severe arthritis, can it be used as a heat therapy for my hand?

It helps with pain. Not a cure though. I have hand pain attacks periodically and I heat you the wax. Tabes a while though.

I wear size 8 in women's shoes and I do each foot in 2 parts , dip toes and half way up foot 7 times and wrap with plastic wrap to keep heat in longer. Then I dip heel and half way up foot. I am standing majority of my 12 hours shifts and I do this everyday after work. I wish I would have gotten bigger size so it would be less work.

Q: Bought some wax that is made by a different company and now it's unbearably hot. Is there a problem with my machine, or the wax?

I don't know if the wax is the problem but if you leave the unit uncovered for even a few minutes while it is heating or after it is hot, the wax will get VERY hot. To solve the "too hot" wax problem, I turn off the machine when I am applying the wax and keep the lid firmly in place while heating and before I use the wax.
