I wasn't sure if I liked it. It has a noticeable licorice / anise flavor and I'm not really a fan of anise. But I was hungry, so I kept eating. By the time I got to the end of my large bowl, I decided that not only did I actually like it, it was actually one of my favorite instant noodles of all time. Unlike most other ramen you don't just get a little packet of dried seasoning - you get a huge packet of coconut milk powder and a packet of wet curry paste. This is a true SE Asian curry ramen, not just an imitation. Pros: Noodle - The noodle takes longer to cook (7 min vs 4 min for most ramen) and is a much higher quality noodle than you typically see in an instant noodle package. That noodle quality alone is enough to justify the price premium. It is very firm and has a nice chew to it. Flavor - The flavor is strong and took some getting used to, but it is a rich, satisfying taste that I grew to love with just one bowl. The curry paste and creamer really take this from being just another spicy instant noodle to a delicious meal. Conclusion - Give is a shot and finish that first bowl. You might find your next favorite instant noodle! Tip - throw a few eggs in about 90-100 seconds before cooking time is complete. Yummy!

Rich broth, delicious noodles
Like with all Prima Taste products, the broth is rich and delicious. Well seasoned, a little spicy but if you want it hotter, you can always add additional heat. Slightly creamy from the coconut powder. Initially I made it like ramen, adding boiling water to a bowl full of the noodles and seasonings. That's not what the instructions say though. You are supposed to mix the seasonings with water, boil, then add the noodles. The latter is MUCH more delicious!! Not that the former method is bad. If you don't have acceess to a pot and stove, then adding boiling water to the noodles/spice is still fantastic. The noodles rehydrate very well and they are just the right level of chewiness. Perfect texture. One pkg says 2 servings but I would say 1 package is a hearty meal. The price is a little high. If it were lower priced, I would buy and eat this more often. As it is, it's a great treat once in a while.

Good. Not the same as in Singapore
This is as close to the authentic taste of Laksa that I ate in Singapore as I have had. Adding more spicey heat, a soft boiled egg, shrimp, bean sprouts, and green onion might feel like a bit of work, defeating the purpose of the package, but it will taste, smell and have the mouth feel of the real thing for just a little more effort.

Best fine
So good. Have lunch or dinner done in less than ten minutes. I’ll brown up pot stickers cook the soup and it’s done. Also have added carrots, broccoli, cauliflower. Best fine all year.

Very tasty!
This Ramen is a little addictive. Especially if you add chicken and vegetables.
