Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought the Mybuild titan a couple of years ago and I had a blast with it. I really like Lego mechs, but I wanted more variety than ninjago. I remembered mybuild and bought this set. It’s pretty cool but I thought it was going to be bigger. The top does not close all the way unless you don’t have a mini figure in it. Some of the armor and tiles you put on the frame don’t have the best connection, but if they fall off I just put them back on. You can only put a mini figure in it if it’s not holding anything and it doesn’t have hair or a hat. I’m definitely buying mybuild. P.S. it does not come with a mini figure.

Lego has gotten so mired in licensing others' IP that they've lost virtually all in-house creativity. These days if you want GOOD building sets, look to Asia. MyBuild is the perfect example of what good, innovative design can look like. Their mechs are fantastic, the instructions are crystal clear, and the piece fitment is top-notch. It remains to be seen how long the joints will hold friction (lookin' at you, Bionicle), but first impression is that you cannot beat MyBuild. The option to buy only the mech skeletons or replacement joint packs is genius. Can't wait to see what else they come up with! EDIT: just FYI, minifigs only fit if you take off their hair or helmets, and usually the arms need to be pointed up. I like to tweak my builds a bit so a helmet will fit underneath, just because.

Soy fanático de los "mechs" japoneses y la construcción con las famosas piezas danesas que todos conocemos y este producto es como un sueño hecho realidad para los que hasta ahora nos hemos hecho un "Juan Palomo" para construir nuestros propios modelos. El "esqueleto" del robot una vez montado es robusto, las articulaciones permiten multitud de poses y, lo mejor, que se pueden utilizar sin problemas las piezas que tengamos para crear multitud de diseños. Yo mismo he adaptado este y queda de fábula. Repetiré mi compra sin duda.
