I didn't know what color the ink would be and this teal is not for me but the refills write so smooth. I love the quality, just not the color ink I chose. Will buy again in a different color next time.

Actually the refills are fine. It's the "expensive" Montblanc that gave up the ghost. I called the company, they sent me to a repair company who charges. For that kind of money the cap should stay on and the company should be good for it. I'm not pleased with the warranty or service from a company who presents themselves as lifetime collector's quality and cost. Caveat Emptor
