I’ve always loved international food — Indian, Chinese, you name it — food is a big part of my daily life, and I like every dish to be bursting with flavour. Recently, I needed some cooking cashews for my go-to Butter Chicken recipe (a gem I found on YouTube), and these turned out to be spot on. Now, these aren’t your crunchy, salted, “snack-on-the-sofa” cashews. They’re raw and unsalted — exactly what you want for cooking. They blend beautifully into sauces and curries, adding that subtle, creamy depth you just can’t fake. After a quick search on Amazon, I came across the “Broken Cashew Nuts 1kg – 100% Raw Broken Cashews”. Great reviews, great price — and since I do love a bargain, I went straight for the 1kg bag. It arrived the next day with Prime (which is a huge plus for me — I can’t stand guessing when things will turn up!). The moment I opened the bag, I was impressed — fresh aroma, good texture, and no dust or odd bits, just quality cashew pieces ready to use. You don’t need much for a recipe, about 120g for my Butter Chicken, so this bag will easily give me eight or more dishes. That’s fantastic value for money. One small note — the bag isn’t resealable, so I transferred mine into an airtight container to keep them fresh (and to avoid an inevitable kitchen disaster if it toppled over!). Honestly, I can’t fault them. Great quality, great price, and they elevate every dish I’ve used them in. Why pay more for branded versions when these are just as good — if not better? Highly recommended for anyone who loves to cook with authentic ingredients.

Excellent quality and taste.

The cashew pieces are definitely better tasting and crispy(not soft, chewy or bitter), but the pieces are a coarse mixture of sizes rather than predominantly halves. Probably good enough for seasoning with curries, rice dishes, adding as an ingredient to sweets, cakes, pastries and pies. It might not be aesthetic to serve it separately, either roasted/fried. Given that cashew nuts are high in fats (~50%), it might be good to have a pack like this at home instead of a pack of unbroken whole nuts, since it serves as a deterrent for snacking on these nuts every now and then :-)

These are delicious, both for eating and cooking with. They are also very good value.

Got for high cholesterol, have seen cheeper but like Amazon

What can I say it was worth the money taste really good not bitter and it is easy to use for cooking don’t need to chop it up or just eat on it own.
