Worth the money!
Amazing suitcases! It is lightweight so it doesn't add to your total weight when checking in. Loved the option of the three sizes. The smallest one is a bit smaller than my normal carry on, but great for a weekend trip! The medium and large are definitely check in size. All are roomy, no wasted room like some other luggage, and easy to push even with a full luggage. Our young kids were able to push it (at 50 lbs). Totally worth the money for the 3 combination!

Nice, well made set with some great features
This three piece Samsonite luggage set is truly great and well worth the money. They are sturdy, and comes in the three very important sizes each serving a specific purpose. Starting with the largest suitcase that can hold enough clothes for an extended cruise, international travel, or a family of three for a weekend getaway. The mid-sized bag is the standard luggage size, but the layout is better than most, including placing the divider panel so that when you unzip it, it lays outside of the bag instead of clumped in the middle like most bags. The smallest bag is carry on size, and has a feature that most bags in that size range does not have which is two carry handles, one on top and one on the side. Most smaller bags have removed that side handle, which makes them awkward to carry if you are in a situation where you cannot roll the bag along. Pros: - Comes in three different sizes - The larger two have TSA locks - Well laid out interior including the divider panel that zips out of the way - All three pieces have top and side handle - All three pieces have quality wheels that allow for two different ways to roll the luggage - All three pieces have expansion areas - 10 Year warranty Cons: - Warranty doesn't cover everything - Wasted space inside carry-on for USB power block (not included) that is more of a gimmick than useful - They are not cheap

Very nice and affordable set.
I love these. We took them on a trip to Europe for 12 days and I was able to fit everything in the medium size suitcase and the carryon. They were not completely full and I still had too much stuff with me. But I guess it depends on people’s packing style. For me they are a great size. They have no damage and seem to be very sturdy. I love the purple because it’s not the bright purple but still easy to recognize when picking up from baggage. The only thing I don’t like is that they open up in the middle and therefore don’t fit on those baggage tables they have in hotels. But that is the case with all hard exterior luggage. It might to be good to consider that if you are changing from fabric luggage as they usually have a flap on top rather than opening it from the middle like a book. But that has nothing to do with the quality of this set. It looks nice and is sturdy.

Very decent specially for the price
I really like this luggage set overall. The Nova Teal color looks great, and the textured shell does a nice job hiding minor scratches, which is a big plus after a few trips. The spinner wheels are solid and roll very smoothly, making the suitcases easy to maneuver even when packed. The weight is reasonable—not ultra-light, but definitely manageable and feels sturdy rather than flimsy. I also appreciate that the two larger suitcases have built-in locks for added security. The only downside is that the smallest piece doesn’t have a lock, which would have been nice for consistency across the set. Overall, this is a very good luggage set, especially if you can get it at a discounted price. It feels durable, looks good, and performs well for regular travel.

Perfect for international travel or shorter trips or warm-weather destinations
I love this. It’s small, yes, but the dimensions are clearly stated. You really have to read carefully with luggage - I tried a few other roller carry-ons that were the standard roll-on size but the interior dimensions were the same as this one. It rolls well, the handle is high enough (I’m 5’10”), and I was able to pack for an 8-day, 7-night trip to the Caribbean with this and a backpack. It was easy to lift up and get in the bulkhead, not too heavy or awkward. I like the side handle (not all carryon roller bags have a side handle). It’s cute. The inside material was higher quality than other brands I tried. I also have this in the next size up, which I would take for trips or trips where I need a bit more room for thicker or more clothes or shoes (for work or winter traveling). The color made it easy to identify but colorful suitcases seem more common these days.

Smaller than you expect. Samsonite Warranty meaningless
Don't assume that this set will be as great in overall capacity as earlier Samsonite luggage. You will be seriously mistaken, as I was. When you replace your luggage are you looking for less packing space? I was shocked at the obvious difference in size when I received these. I input the dimensions of the cases into AI, compared to a Samsonite set I bought in 2018. I have triple checked the input of dimensions after getting the result. The carry on is 7.3 liters of volume smaller, medium another 7.7 liters smaller, and the large a whopping 24.7 liters smaller. Total difference 39.7 liters or 10.5 gallons smaller in volume. AND SAMSONITE HAS TAKEN A SHARP DISHONEST TURN ON THEIR WARRANTY POLICY. When unpacking at my current location I found an unexplained serious crack in the shell of my earlier purchased large case. Before contacting Samsonite I researched how they respond to warranty claims. Everything said they were pretty good and fair with how they deal with warranty claims. It was explained via an AI search that they do not repair cracked luggage but replace it - as long as it does not appear that the cracks came from wear and tear or rough handling, as we know happens. My crack is truly unexplained, no apparent reason, no scuffs, no dents, just a crack - as will happen when materials fail from ordinary stress. That is a defect in manufacture. Now, unlike the history uncovered by AI, every clown with Samsonite told me that a crack in a case is NECESSARILY, NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR FROM MISHANDLING. That is an out and out lie. I travel a lot, I know the difference. I have litigated material failures. There are many reasons for plastic to crack, mishandling is only one of many reasons. And though I was well within the 10 year warranty, they kept telling me my luggage was old as if it did not come with a 10 year warranty.

Excelente quality!
When I bought this 4 years ago I couldnt complain about the price. It was very affordable. I was worried to see how long it would last me. I know buying luggage is like a gamble. One thing you dont want is the zipper or wheel breaking on you while you're on your travel. One of the big luggage only lasted me 4 years. One of the wheels if ready to come off. Im trying to save it before I have to buy a new one. The other 2 is still going strong. I have no issues at all. Would I reccomend this? The price im seeing now has definitely gone way up. Im not sure if they upgraded or not. I know 4 years ago I will say this is definitely worth to buy if it was the same price as I bought 4 years ago.

Lets gooooo! Hands down the best carry-on ever.
The Samsonite Omni 2 Carry-On is a popular choice for travelers seeking a durable, lightweight, and stylish hard-shell suitcase. This 19-inch model aims to meet the needs of frequent flyers looking for a reliable companion for short trips and as a carry-on option. Here’s a breakdown of its pros and cons: Pros: Durability and Construction: The Omni 2 lives up to Samsonite's reputation for quality. The hardshell exterior, made from polycarbonate, feels robust and capable of withstanding the typical bumps and scrapes of travel. It’s designed to protect your belongings from damage during transit, making it a worthwhile investment for frequent travelers. Lightweight Design: This is a major selling point. The lightweight construction of the Omni 2 allows you to pack more without exceeding airline weight restrictions. This makes it easy to maneuver and lift into overhead compartments. Smooth Spinner Wheels: The four multi-directional spinner wheels are a game-changer. They glide effortlessly across a variety of surfaces, making navigating airports a breeze. The 360-degree rotation ensures smooth and easy movement in any direction. Expandable Feature: The ability to expand the suitcase provides much-needed flexibility. When you need extra space for souvenirs or last-minute packing, the expansion zipper allows you to gain a few extra inches, which is a handy feature to have. Organization: The interior features a zippered divider and elastic cross-straps, which help keep your belongings organized and prevent shifting during transit. This makes packing and unpacking more efficient. TSA-Approved Lock: The built-in TSA-approved lock provides an added layer of security, giving you peace of mind while traveling. This feature is particularly convenient, allowing TSA agents to open and inspect your luggage without damaging the lock. Stylish Aesthetics: The Omni 2 boasts a sleek and modern design that is available in a range of colors. It looks professional and stylish without being flashy. This adds to the overall appeal of the suitcase. Cons: Size Limitations: While it's a convenient carry-on, the 19-inch size might be restrictive for longer trips, even with the expansion feature. It may not be suitable for travelers who tend to overpack or need to carry a significant amount of clothing. Scratches: While the polycarbonate shell is durable, it can be prone to scratches and scuffs over time, especially with frequent use. This is a common issue with hardshell luggage, and while the damage is usually cosmetic, it may affect the overall appearance of the suitcase over time. Internal Space: The interior design can be slightly limiting for larger, bulkier items. The curved shell and internal components can take up some valuable packing space, so you might need to use packing cubes or be strategic about how you pack. Handle Wobble: Some users have reported a slight wobble in the telescoping handle. While this doesn't affect its functionality, it's a minor concern that some might find disconcerting. Price Point: The Samsonite brand typically comes with a higher price tag than other luggage options. While the quality justifies the cost for many, it might be a bit pricey for budget-conscious travelers. Overall: The Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage, Carry-On 19-Inch, is a solid investment for travelers who value durability, lightweight construction, and smooth maneuverability. The spinner wheels and expansion feature are highly convenient, and the TSA-approved lock offers added security. While it may have some minor drawbacks like the susceptibility to scratches and a slightly limited internal space, these are common concerns with hardshell luggage. If you’re looking for a reliable and stylish carry-on option that will withstand the rigors of travel, the Omni 2 is definitely worth considering. However, if you’re on a tight budget or require more packing space for longer trips, you might want to explore other options. Who Should Buy This: Frequent travelers who need a reliable and durable carry-on. Those who prioritize lightweight luggage and easy maneuverability. Travelers who appreciate a sleek and modern design. Those who value the peace of mind offered by a TSA-approved lock. Who Might Want to Consider Other Options: Budget-conscious travelers. Travelers who need a lot of packing space. Those who are bothered by minor cosmetic scratches. In conclusion, the Samsonite Omni 2 Carry-On is a well-rounded piece of luggage that delivers on its promises for quality and convenience. It's a great choice for most frequent flyers looking for a reliable travel companion.
