I got these for sprouting microgreens. The holes, though the product description says they are small mesh, are NOT. Too big for microgreen seeds. The 'growing paper'? It's just packing paper cut to the size of the tray. There are not instructions on what the paper is supposed to be used for. To keep the seeds from going through the holes? But then how do I rinse them with water throughout the day as is the standard process for microgreens? Disappointed for that reason. But they will work for the mung bean sprouts and wheatgrass. They are not very sturdy. When putting water in to soak the seeds, be careful to use both hands to set it somewhere as it tilts with the water.
