6Ft Component HD AV Cable to HDTV-EDTV (High Definition 480p) Compatible with Nintendo Wii and Wii U

Using this on a Wii vs the Wii 2 HDMI is more natural looking with colors. Thankfully we have a big plasma TV that supports progressive scan, and interlace signals. So switching to component cables was easy. This is a great cost for the sound, image, and function. The Wii U does not offer the same clarity. I cant tell if it’s sharper, or less. But it looks really great! Hopefully it holds up a long time. The family loves the Wii so much!

It works! That's about it. That's all it needs to de. Can't embellish it any more than that. It was a good value for the money and works just as good as the Nintendo brand cables.

I was thinking of buying a Wii > HDMI converter, but after looking at so many reviews on YouTube I decided to buy this cable as it seemed the best quality and bang for the buck. I don't regret the option since I can use on any TV modern and old and it gives me a great video quality. I can also use with an upscale box but the main issues is no lag is added to the gameplay

Whenever my Wii graphics are not working , this is very reccomend to get off Amazon incase you really need to get a new one of these for your Nintendo Wii that’s hooked to your tv

After doing some research, it came down to either a Mayflash HDMI adapter or a component cable. Luckily, my 2021 model LG flat-screen television still has a component hook-up available. This same television only has two HDMI ports already used by a Nintendo switch and Blu-Ray player. So this was a good option for me to utilize the open component port on the TV. As far as picture and sound quality with this Xahpower Direct component cable, it looks and sounds great. Game play is also much better than the Wii supplied composite cable. Finally, this is a simple one cable hook-up with no additionally adapters and power sources and other things to go bad. And at a price of less than $10/shipped at the time of this writing, a great deal. You could pay more for a composite cable but after seeing the overall quality and performance of this one, don't see a need to pay more. Like I said in the my headline. Get it!

For the original Wii. Works great for me. I think I could have used it on the DVD player too. Very nice product and great price.

It is really too bad that we missed the window to return this product by five days. We had been trouble shooting with these cables ever since we purchased them. We tried everything. Although the cables are easy to install, they never really worked properly. The picture quality was clear but the sound would never work properly. It would quickly become fuzzy and then reduce down to nothing. What good is a clear picture with no sound? Purchase was a waste of my son's saved up money!
