Doing DIY is easy, and it works like a charm. There's no need to wait for the automatic lock; just shut the door and press the U button on the lock without using your phone!

I had been looking for a smartlock that did have "too many" methods of opening making it more vulnerable. The U-Bolt was a good compromise and if you want an ANSI grade 1 deadbolt you really have very few options. I was skeptical about the exterior button pattern but it's easy enough to navigate. The manual knob turns very smoothly and feels very sturdy. The electronics have worked perfectly with one caveat which I will detail down below:The after about a year the interior section failed to power on ever after replacing the batteries. I believe this was from the auto-locking feature getting stuck and burning itself out. (Note: even in a no-power state it still operated as a "dumb" lock maintaining my security.) I contacted U-Tec and worked though the troubleshooting steps and after confirming that the device had indeed failed, they sent me a new interior mechanism. Once replaced it returned to working perfectly again.Would recommend.

se instaló y se usa en Mexico.Retire la chapa manual e instalé ULTRALOQ U-Bolt sin ningún problema, sin contratar ningún cerrajero, pues los hoyos ajustaron perfecto.Esta opción con Adaptador WIFI, el modulo blanco separado (en la imagen) entrega la funcionalidad de control a distancia mediante la app proporcionada a través de internet.Reporta intentos fallidos, exitosos, si el pestillo se trabo, apertura manual o con clave, horarios de apertura y cierre por usuario registrado, etc.Fue una solución perfecta para la comodidad de mis huepedes.
