Bought these buckles to use for a cosplay. I needed something strong enough to hold an armor chest-plate piece snug and also match the dark gunmetal color of other metal pieces. These were perfect for the job! The elastic straps I used were 1 inch exactly and these buckles slid over the elastic with just the right fit. They clip and unclip very smoothly but never felt the risk of them opening on accident the entire con weekend over 10+ hour days. Excellent quality for a really great price.

They look beautiful, and click together beautiful, but to separate them, at least for my fat fingers, takes two hands. I prefer the shiny gun metal black and solid construction to plastic though

I made a dog harness with some of these and they work great. They are nice and strong. I have no worry that my dog could break them.

These buckles seem very nice. I didn't keep them so I can't comment on durability. I bought them to make belts, but they lack a 2nd bar to be able to weave one side of the belt through to be able to loosen/tighten, so they won't work for my needs.
