Great option to minimize the storage of large quantities of dog food. The ingredients are high quality with names you can pronounce. My dog absolutely loves it. it is pricey, but when you consider the lack of filler and that the ingredients are so wholesome it is worth it for my little man.

Excellent food for my show dogs. They stay healthy with it and enjoy it very much. Wholesome human grade ingredients and travels well to shows.

Pepper loves watching me prepare this, and gobbles it right down! I'm adding to kibble now to make it last. I'm on my third box! Great ingredients, and would be good backpacking food for doggies as well!

Okay. I have a very picky eater and he has always been underweight. We switched to a canned food to entice him, but he still only ate 50% of the time. This was a major issue because our other dog is not a picky eater, and if the picky one left his full meal and I wasn’t on top of picking it up right away, she would eat his. She was already on the heavy side, so you can see the problem we had! Anyway, my parents had purchased a box of this Honest Kitchen dehydrated dog food and then their doggo passed away. They gave us what remained of the box so we could see if our dogs took to it. I started using it and my dogs absolutely love it! I have never seen our picky eater get so excited to be fed. He is finally putting on some weight and looks forward to every meal. I feel like their breath has improved and they don’t have as heavy of the “dog” smell as they used to. I just bought my own box and we are a permanent customer. Great product! Highly recommend.

It’s easy to make up, I dole it as a topping to other foods. Both my Goldens love these products. The ingredients look full and healthy. My dog trainer says this is quality stuff. I’ll order another box next week. They are expensive but really go far. Just add water and stir. Then the next day you’ll add a bit more water.

Our dog loves the Honest Kitchen dehydrated foods and seems to be thriving on them. I buy this one and the plain beef and the turkey and rotate them. I also use some of the HK toppers, to give her variety, along with a few fresh veggies and greens. Her last blood work was impressive on this regime. Based on several years of this HK Beef with Salmon and the other two HK dehydrates I highly recommend these products. It is easy to measure out a certain amount into a bowl and add water. I then wait about 6 or so minutes for it to hydrate, stir in the topper and or grated carrots, some torn up greens, a bit of egg, etc. Easy!!

Quality was terrible. Product was foul smelling and my dog refused to come within several feet of it. Amazon ultimately refunded my purchase price but it required extra effort because it’s considered a food product and not returnable. It might only have been the batch I received and I should have read the reviews more carefully as someone else had the same issues near the time I purchased.

We used this product for years and it was fine. Then strangely, last year, three different boxes made our dogs severely ill. Diarrhea beyond. We left the product for months, but came back to it because the ingredients in everything else are so poor. We are happy to report we have not had any bad experiences with this in the last 5 months. FYI - Amazon is good about replacing any bad batches you may receive. Hope this helps you and does not cause even more confusion about what to buy : )
