This is the perfect portable set to use at chess tournaments. The bag and set are a nice quality, the color is bright, the mat thickness allows it to be rolled up easily. Great value for the money we spent. After a few months of use at chess tournaments, we have not had any problems with the mat peeling.

Purchased as a gift. Person receiving the item was very pleased and happy with the gift. Item was as expected and very pleased with the quality.

High quality pieces board is nicely made and has good weight and the travel bag makes it easy to transport anywhere.

I like this bag, but the board can not be rolled and put in the bag. It can only be placed in the bag if it is folded.

I brought this just so that I can have an actual chessboard to play on instead of my little tiny one and without any expectations I was a little nervous when I read some of the reviews because I thought that the board would be really messed up but it really isn’t. I guess I may have gotten lucky. The box doesn’t come with the most prettiest look. It had tape all over. It’s kind of ghetto, but it actually works so I definitely like it. It comes with plastic bags for the pieces so you might wanna get something else for that if you’re trying to look cool or fancy when you go out but if you’re just playing at home and you need a chessboard, this is perfect. You really don’t need anything else. The pieces are very light so I understand why some more professional players would be frustrated with it, but you also have to understand it was 22 bucks so you get what you pay for as for me I like it it suits the purpose that I needed for.

Great chess board! Have a job as chess director now! Good for chess and checkers.
