Working great
This set was installed perfect fit. It has been installed on a truck that has been used very much every day. Working perfect and so much cheaper than the auto stores.

Good
Everyone that is having issues bleeding the clutch needs to get an automatic, it was easy as pie and the clutch feels so good, not hard or nothing, I drive 300 miles a day kinda sorta and I was afraid that the clutch would be too stiff but it turned out perfect.

This part does not Fit the 97 ford 4.0L V6 manual Transmission
Not a good fit for my 97 Ranger. It's a 4.0L V6. clutch did not matched up. had to go spend money at the auto part store. got the correct clutch but used the slave cylinder. now my truck is hard to get in gear. Looking like gonna have to remove the transmission again and replace the cylinder with another. just looked under the truck and after the test drive. There is a leak at the line connection.Changed the rating. The leak was just the O-ring at the connector. half the kit did work. The clutch was the issue. I did not read all the Description. will fit the 3.0 not the 4.0. Will be more careful in the future.

Buyer beware of slave cylinder
Ordered this kit for my work truck. It arrived on time, well packaged and in new condition. My mechanic installed the kit, bled the wet clutch and third test pump of the clutch pedal, the slave cylinder seal blew. I contacted Amazon but all they offer is a refund on return of the kit. Which means I'll have to pay to have the entire kit removed and shipped back. Meanwhile my work truck is down for who knows how much longer? I want the defective slave cylinder replaced. However contacting the seller seems almost impossible. With the labyrinth of links and vague options offered, it's a nightmare runaround. So I, the customer, the very reason this seller is a seller and Amazon is Amazon, gets the shaft. My friends all warned me that thus site should be called Scamazon.Functionality = (0) FAILNoise level = (0) FAILDurability = (0) FAILFit = (100) PASS10/14/2024 ::UPDATE:: Located a slave cylinder locally. $62.50. About half what I paid for this kit. Then the transmission removal and part swap costs from my mechanic $170. On top of $433.50 original cost, plus this kit. For a 96 Ranger with 400 thousand plus miles that Geico says is worth eighty bucks. The struggle is real.

Easy to install
So I bought this clutch over a month ago and put it in my self in my yard. And I’ll tell ya after 6,000 miles it still feels brand new. It’ll last a long time and I’m thrashing it. Btw for anyone to hate on this clutch remember to break the clutch in properly before thrashing. If you don’t expect it to blow. Super expensive clutch will do the same
