Yes they are old a maybe should be updated , but still good

Product the same as I enjoyed as a child. Exactly as I had hoped.

Bought for my son. On opening the outer box the pieces were in a clear plastic pouch. Unfortunately this pouch had been ripped open and there were only 13 pieces not the 14 the outer packaging says. The ends to the bren and stem guns are mostly bent at 90 degrees to straight and they are unfortunately made of fairly brittle plastic so they fall off if corrected. I also bought German Infantry in the same series, so will see what they are like.

The figures have slightly more details than the older sets but the material used is brittle and less durable. Within half a day, my son has broken the ends off nearly all the rifles and machine guns. Older sets would bend but didn't tend to break off easily. One would have expected better quality, especially at this price. It's a shame.

These are hard plastic, one of my standing/walking bayonet riflemen had the bayonet tip broken off out of the box, but that was all I have to gripe about! My set contained the correct number of figures and poses as listed on the back of the box, which given the bad reviews, I wasn’t expecting! I bought these for the dark tan or brown color of the figures, as the vintage Airfix versions of this set come in the same olive drab green as the Americans, and was hoping to avoid quality control issues. Like said, one broken bayonet was all there was, these are solid options for collectors! Probably not suitable for rough play given the hard plastic, though. Some weapons may be bent, but careful/gentle bending of your own can fix them instantly!

I bought the German Paratroopers, WWII British Infantry and the WWII British Commandos.What an incredible disappointment!I have the original sets of German Paratroopers, WWII British Infantry and the WWII British Commandos from the 1970‘s. Those sets are made with a different kind of plastic which is much more flexible and detailed.These figures are made with a cheap, fragile plastic which is quite easy to break. Most of all the rifle barrels, bayonets, machine gun barrels and radio antenna’s were broken off.Some figures arrive completely disfigured and unusable.All the bad reviews regarding this product are true. I regret buying these, cheap, substandard soldier sets, this is clearly a money grab.Do not buy!!
