Second purchase
This is a great product. Keeps a lot of leaves and twigs out of my pool filter. The reason for the 4 star rating is that the instructions do not mention to occasionally coat the O ring with silicone lubricant. I was unable to open the canister on the first one I bought after a couple of months. The O ring had dried out. I lubed the heck out of the replacement and will continue to do so every couple of months. The manufacturer should include this info in the user instructions.
