iJoy Active 2.0 Perfect Fit Massage Chair, Bone Color Option

Updated 3-21-17.I've had this chair for a few weeks and I am Not disappointed. I hold a lot of stress in my shoulders and back which makes my neck very tense. I sit in this chair daily and have to say that I can move my neck now with no pain. I have better range of motion and don't feel the giant tension ball in my shoulder anymore. That knot has been with me forever and it is weird that it's not there anymore. My back and shoulders feel amazing these days which makes me a much happier person. I highly recommend this chair. It does not have all the upgrades that the more expensive chairs have but it definitely gets the job done. That's the best 500 dollars I ever invested. I wish I would have bought this year's ago.Original reviewI was super excited when I received my chair. I knew it would be small and gave vigorous massages. I'm 5'3 and it is so perfect for me. I live in a studio apartment and the chair fits in perfectly. The massage pressure is perfect for my tense shoulders and back. This chair is better than the ones in the nail salons. It was worth the $500.00 that I paid. It was so easy to put together. I don't think it took more than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this for any one who likes medium to hard massages.

UPDATE: Received a response from iJoy. Reminded me that the warranty was 12 months, so I am 2 months out of warranty. Said it sounded like the massage mechanism is broken, and it is not fixable. Stated that they might be able to give me a discount on an "open box" or other item. REALLY? No way to fix it, and used probably less than 20 times. I would love a new one, but I don't trust electronics that die right after their warranty expires. DO NOT buy this, what a waste of money.Initial review:I really hope I can update this review with a more positive one soon! I have had this chair for 14 months with light use (1-2 times a month). I LOVE the massage, it is firm and therapeutic. BUT, this morning it stopped working. The "manual" doesn't help at all, as it just has set-up instructions and safety instructions. I have sent a message to the company, and hope it is fixable. It is KILLING me that I am 2 months out of warranty, and it is not operational. Wish I had checked on it 2 months ago... Very unhappy!

The item works as advertised, however lacks the programing patterns of the original iJoy chair. This new model has only limited control of massage patterns and does not allow a single button to combine all patterns for a full body experience. This new chair is also much lighter than the original chair which is nice for pickup moving, however it appears the overall construction is less durable. Out of the box mine arrived with one of the plastic guards on the rear broken. This does not affect the function of the chair but does impact the look of the chair from the rear, so I glued it back on. Overall it is a nice chair with a seating height improved over the original. In a head to head comparison, I would prefer the original iJoy over this new one. However, I am satisfied with both my iJoy chairs...

The message feel pretty good. As far as the chair it self. No adlut make would be comfortable in the chair for a length of time. My husband is 6' 180 and looks like a faint sitting on a child seat. I want to the videos many time before buying this chair and never notice how small.is really is. Again my 10 fits in very well but as adult it just not a great fit. More the rollers feel great I give the massage 8 out of 10 stars

Just received this chair, and found it certainly to be well worth the money. It works well, seems well made, and took seconds to set up.However, it is a bit smaller than expected, and that can factor into the overall comfort of the chair. It's a bit lower than a normal chair, and I suspect they used pettite models to make it seem bigger. It's more like you removed the seat in a standard car and placed it on the floor. Great for small rooms and works well for someone 5'5 or shorter, but at 6'1" and 200 lbs it's a bit too small for me and definitely too narrow- like a coach seat on a low budget airline.The rollers give as deep tissue as you'd ever need, and if you're average height or taller you just need to shift a bit now and then to hit all the spots. It's worth the $400 it cost regardless, and well made enough that I'll probably buy a larger model from the same company in a year or two.

This chair is a BEAST, if you have a not it will get it out, this is not a typical massage chair that touches you lightly. I really feel that it should be called a deep massage chair, my wife was really blown away at how well it worked and said it is way better than the ones at nail salons. My wife and I cannot get over how well it works the muscles out, it hurts at first until you get used to it because it really gets into the muscles.Overall very happy. The chair is LIGHT, Good looking furniture and if you like a serious massage this is it. The price is great on it too.This is not a chair t just sit in, even though I am in it right now I put pillows on the back so I can sit in it without a massage, but really it is strictly just for massages.Hope this helps LOVE THIS CHAIR NO BS it is a deep massage.
