A great book for beginners to elder’s of Wicca

I must say, I cannot stop reading this book. I read the comments and couldn't understand why the negative remarks...🤔. Spell after spell my eyes are glued to every page. Their are soooo many spells and other things. I was amazed at the old English. It brings me back to dancing naked by the fires, and appreciating the seasons. This book if you are a witch, druid, or warlock is for you. I think all those other comments didn't read the entire book and just flipped whatever page and they just decided to give faults information. Idiots.🧐.

Great book Great price

This is not a one size fits all, it is a rather wide variety of spells, chants, and rituals - it’s filled with information and knowledge, and of course spells. It was my first spell book that helped me learn from all different backgrounds, times & I absolutely recommend if you’re not focusing your practice based off one particular faith, such as Wicca. This has a ton of info from all different ethnic backgrounds. I recommend, it’s historical in a way.

I like it okay. It is old spells and still uses old terms. I know most of my old terms and understand that an eye of the wolf just means a certain button needs to be sewn in a sleeve. I knew from reviews that some would be useless to me as religeon may interfere, but, most books have some things I don't use , so , that was not a deal-breaker. The only thing that makes me not love it is that it is more of an incanttion book than a spell book. It does have both but, it has a lottt of incantations and few actual recipes. It is pretty and may just garnish my shelf. Its okay for the price.

A note to others who may complain about the book.it may be written in a way you don't like to see..you must always remember a book of spells is to give you an idea to write your own spell. So they can pray to a stump it's up to you to use the god you choose. I found this book great for ideas I'm 72 yr old so I've been at this a long time. Listen to my review before deciding to cast off this book as a joke. Some spells need little changing. some need a little more. Good book to have in your library.

Great as a prop. I painted over the pages and wrote a better looking witchcraft book. Basically only good for cover. Be better if pages came blank. Pages in book are a collection of meaningless research on the occult. The picked random practices from other books they read. It's basically a book on highlighted research notes rather than witchcraft. Go to an occult store if you want a real spell book. This is not a real book on witchcraft, you will be disappointed. This product is best as a prop or a cover for your own designed book.

Of you are serious about witchcraft DO NOT purchase this book. It's a decent display piece or spooky Halloween prop but absolutely useless for anything else. The "spells" listed aren't spells but rather old wive's tales and superstitions. In my years of practicing witchcraft I've never read a worse book. And to think that the author claims to be a high priestess! She's not even a witch. She's just trying to cash in on witchcraft because it's trendy.First, the spells. As I mentioned previously, they aren't really spells. Furthermore, the supposed cultural origins of the spells are all lies. There are many instances of her taking a poem from say, native American culture, and adapting part of it into what she calls a spell. That is both academically dishonest and offensive.And then there's the racism and the animal abuse. Any witch worth their salt needs to be angry about this. The fact that so many non-witchs think this book is legit makes my skin crawl, especially with all of the racial stereotypes and glowing descriptions of animal abuse.Don't buy this book unless it's for part of a Halloween costume or an art project. It is a beautiful book, so I plan to hollow it out and use it as a box to store herbs or crystals in.
